In four games we've scored two goals, one of which should not have been given. We are incredibly useless in attack.

Re: Barclay's Premier League discussion '15-'16 V3
im not to bothered about the attack. we have a new front 3 and they have only played 4 games. 2 of them being hard away games. the attack will gell soon. what im more worried about is in 3 years we have not won single 2nd ball when our defenders head the ball out. either rodgers cant see it in wich case he is a idiot. or he can see it and dont want to fix it in wich case he is a idiot.Art Morte wrote:In four games we've scored two goals, one of which should not have been given. Re: Barclay's Premier League discussion '15-'16 V3
Chelsea putting together another fantastic Mourinho-esque title challenge.
My reaction when they brought on Bolasie to go against ivanovic in the second half
Was amazed at the end where Bolasie showed pity on Ivanovic and didnt attack him.

no such thing in football. you either do. or you dont. if out 3 great chances had of gone in we would have won 3-0. but they didnt so its not worth talking about.RealGunner wrote:We would have comfortably beaten you 1-0 via own goal with our Cbs on Monday as well tbh

Re: Barclay's Premier League discussion '15-'16 V3
Nothing really positive to say about the game. Missing Coutinho for United now.
What I will say is that we play far too narrow against teams that set up 10 behind the ball against us and look to hit on the counter. It's going to kill us every time unless Rodgers can figure that out. Moreno and Ibe should have been on far earlier than they were (really, Moreno should have started over Gomez IMO). As long as we keep setting up this way and don't really use any width we're going to be in trouble. If we do decide to put everything through the middle we have to play with two strikers, no exceptions, because nobody is ever there for when Benteke brings the ball down unless he's dropping back into midfield.
The only silver lining really is that Arsenal, Chelsea and United have looked just as poor to start the season, and we're not really giving up ground in the top 4 race yet.

This is an interesting read on the low number of home wins so far:

Lol yeah his act has grown cold.
Its amusing when Chelsea are winning, but when they are not it is pretty much shameful.

why does liverpool get beat by poor teams so often. i can understand getting beat by good teams but time and time again teams with avarage players and avarage managers beat us more than they should.

Re: Barclay's Premier League discussion '15-'16 V3
I hope that isn't how formal transfer requests are done everywhere.Danny Higginbotham wrote:So I wrote on two pieces of paper, which I put in two envelopes, “I would like to leave, as I can no longer give my best to the football club”. I gave one to Tony Pulis and one to the chairman. Within 24 hours I was at Sunderland. One year later, though, I was back at Stoke City, showing that people in football can have short memories.
Also, it's 3 games into the season, the article is on to something but it has an air of premature ejaculation.
Also, Danny's writing is similar to his football. Take that as you would.

Seems to me like this is what regularly happens with midtable clubs aka we are average.

Re: Barclay's Premier League discussion '15-'16 V3
but we still shouldent lose as much as we do against teams with worst players and managers than us. lets face it no matter how much people thing rodgers is crap. swapping him for bilic would not improve us. would we swap our front 3 for the west ham front 3. not in a million years.ExtremistEnigma wrote:Unique wrote:why does liverpool get beat by poor teams so often. i can understand getting beat by good teams but time and time again teams with avarage players and avarage managers beat us more than they should.
