The Movie House - Part 5

Watched Reservoir Dogs last night


It was a good film but it's one of those which needed to be seen years ago. I am assuming most of the iconic scenes were all unique in the film. Because I've seen most of those (like the final threeway shootout) numerous times in one place or another.

I can appreciate the quality of the film considering it was made in 92. But I wouldn't say i enjoyed it greatly.

Thought the film was boring through the middle. Ending was great.

Glad Mr Pink was the one who survived in the end. My favourite character

Hard to interpret your ratings 7,9/10 "did not enjoy greatly"

Still in my top 3 Tarantino films, I think.

That, Basterds (my number 1) and Kill Bill

I rated it on the quality rather than enjoyment. Saying that, I did enjoy it. Just not greatly

It was extremely well directed tbh. And the dialogues were great.

Also Tarantino himself in it

Not really, they are very recessarry. Rather see a number rating from someone I trust, than a 500 word review or more. That way I can spend time watching instead of reading, when I don't have to spend money on it. I only read reviews if I have to pay a cinema ticket.

Both are important imo.

Also, I know when I rate something, I rate them by not only enjoyment and quality, but I have a certain sentence i describe every rating with 3/5 means I enjoyed watching it (doesn't mean it's well-made or something) 5/5 it's near perfect or one of my favourite movies.

Ratings usually follow the text and gives a better picture overall.

Not really. It tells me, I have trusted this guy's reviews before, he has the same taste as me. I really want to watch a movie now. Oh. He likes it. I will watch it right now.

It helps by determining if you want to spend your time watching a film and not the quality of it. Not everyone has time to spend like 30 minutes to choose a film, so a number makes the process easier

It was a brief review since it's a movie 90% have seen lol. I usually write an extensive ones for the cinema films

Best Kubrick film I've seen. That and first half of Fullmetal Jacket

I'd watch Indiana Jones if it was available tbh. I am done downloading films anymore. Gone full legal


Might watch Clockwork orange or Star Wars tonight (seen the first 2 in he background but will watch them again anyways).

I need to rewatch Star Wars before the new one in December tbh.

Get on Rebels also pls. Season 2 was great. And distubingly dark for an animated show on Disney xD.
