It's like, so lame that games can end in ties, am I right guys? So un-American.

Every game should go to over time, and be settled like this

This is true, but I'm not kidding you when I was 90% of American football players and fans are unaware of this. I happens like once every other season but every time there is a tie after a game players in post games say "a tie? I didn't even know games could end in ties".

Also in the early days of MLS, the league refused to end games in ties because they thought Americans wouldn't accept it. So games ended in hockey like shootouts to accommodate the perceived need for a winner/loser every game

Yes, but this is not odd, people are just yet to see how right I am.

A couple of actually odd opinions of mine:

Balotelli could be a great CM.

Mike Ashley isn't a bad club owner to have.

Tony Pulis should manage a top-6 club in the Premier league.

Gourcuff . I used to think he would have been our next big thing after Kaka . And as a matter of fact , his first season at Bordeaux seemed to go in line with that , except the tiny fact he wasn't playing for Milan anymore lol . Wonder what the lad is doing these days . Probably still injured Proud

For a short while , i used to think Aguero could challenge Messi for the BallonDor , one day .

I think Iniesta's ball control and overall technique as a player is better than Zidane's was . In fact , i believe Iniesta is one of the best players ever . His overall technique is like football porn to me , i could watch him play for days .

I wanted Huntelaar to stay at Milan , despite Ibra .

I think Seedorf is severely underappreciated , when it comes to the player he was that is . Everyone remembers and talks about all the things he won ; but he was a magnifiscent player and a very rare midfielder overall. Unlikely that we see another Seedorf any time soon imho.

I also think Ambrosini is one of Serie A most underappreciated players during the last 15 years . During his prime years , he could have played for any team in Serie A as a regular and many many other top clubs elsewhere in the world , as their defensive midfielder , but was always very loyal to Milan and willing to suffer the bench in order to help whenever was necessary . Sadly he rarely got the recognition he deserved during his best years , at least nowhere near the big name DMs got .

I also liked Real's Guti a lot , i always thought he was kinda underappreciated at Real , because of their hype for the big names in football. I always though Guti was quality and on par with many other top midfielders in his day .

- Pato could still be one of the best centre forwards in the world if he returns to europe and has an injury free run.

- Adrian mutu in his prime fiorentina days was vastly underrated.

- Icardi is the second coming of Crespo but will be even better.

- Without a prime Nedved's goal scoring ability outside of the box he would be a decent player at best. Jack of all trades but a specialist only for finishing and long shots.

- A prime Kaka was the best footballer I've ever seen bar messi

Gourcuff was also one of mine. Though one wouldn't think he would  be a mere above average player if you saw him at Bordeaux. The guy looked like he was destined for big things. Still a good player tho.

Akinfeev before his disaster at the WC.

I also bought into the Carroll hype. Tho, it looks like Kane took his stead.

If you talk about currently held believes, it's probably my believe that Pedro is a very good footballer in his prime and as good as before, that can make the difference if any of MSN is missing and that Barça should keep him another season. Everyone else seems to think he is rubbish, not to fit to play in Primera and a shadow of the player he was.

My most stupid belief was when I thought Eto'o wasn't a big improvement on Saviola. Oh how wrong I was...

I believed Okocha and el hadj diouf were great players , specially Diouf ( after wc 2002 ).

I thought Bojan was the next big thing.

I thought Anelka-Henry association could have been the best thing to happen to France NT.

I thought Nasri was going to be a great player.

I believed Abidal woudln't fit at Barca. I was so wrong.
