Also down the massive lake. All those items and no enemy in sight. Must be legit. Had a constant shield on while walking to the items. 3 spiders sneaking from behind. Not surprised in the least

probably was a player, there are only a couple of NPC questline summon signs where you get summoned into their world , plenty of the NPC's you can summon but they aren't really related to any quests/trophies, church of yorshka was most likely a player, dont remember any NPC summons there

Noticing the increase in difficulty. Most enemies now giving more souls and are more annoying. I have 2 OP fire spells now but they use too much FP sadly.

Need a ring for FP reducing

Some pos invaded me ffs. Tried to tell him I am not interested by walking away. He had a sword bigger than my screen lol. Two orbs was it all it took and he was gone.

I got so lucky at times though. Had no idea where i was rolling. was praying there was no wall behind. It's not actually an OP build yet. Bad thing about being a pryo is you are extremely exposed defensively. I am easy to kill so it's a matter of kill first or be killed most of the time.

It's just that you get 3 rings that boost your fire attacks so damage gets good

Think he thought I was a noob lol. Surprised he didn't dodge when I orbed him. Oh well. I guess someone else will invade tomorrow too as I am still embered.


Honestly I am finding this a lot more harder than I found BB. BB bosses were better though because I think there were twice as many. But overall i am getting frustrated a lot by smaller enemies.

Maybe it's because I forgot if BB was that difficult I only remember being OP due to that GOAT hunter axe. But DS is more about different builds and customisation so it's not as easy to focus just on one thing

Have I missed any lore behind Demon King or Pontiff so far?

well pontiff is an important character in the game whose impact stretches past even the point where you defeat him but not all that much is known about him atm, read the wiki for lore once you're done, he has ties to a lot of the first game characters, old demon king is linked with the first game (last survivor of the race of demons that came about) but not anyone important

I mean I didn't find BB bosses too difficult besides Orphan and the chalice dungeon stuff which were annoying endurance fights

100% agree that the mob enemies are far more difficult in DS3 than BB

Yet to find any boss as annoying as Rom, the Vacuous Spider. Only boss I needed coop on

wasn't Bloodborne your first experience with the Fromsoftware games? tbh the first is always the hardest, got stuck on DS1 on one boss for 1 week. Bloodborne still follows the same basic gameplay mechanics tbh, once you get those down you never really struggle with the games

Yea it was the first proper experience. Will probably remain as my favourite too. Loving DS3 but BB was just on a different level for me. Probably because i haven't played DS1 or 2 so I can't relate as much.

Going to get DS2 after this.

Got addicted to PVP ffs. Summoning dark spirit left right center.



Btw trophies look so tedious in this one. I seem to have missed half of them already as you had to talk to so many NPC and do this and do that.

Yeah. Played 50 hrs + of pure PVP. Area after Pontiff is a PVP duel hotspot. Fav spot. They are very tedious. Necessary to plat all dark souls games though IMO.

I will have to do like 3 playthroughs

At Anor Londo now but It really feels like I have missed something out. There was this illusion wall which felt like a boss area so i went the other way (pulling lever to move staircase). Should go back i guess

Aldrich was another 2 mins job. Found it more difficult to reach theb oss room than to kill her lol.

nah, only a couple of optional areas with possible to miss bosses later
