lol, mimic chests..in DS1/2 there were like only 5 in the game but in DS3 feels like there are more mimics than real chests, you know that you can tell if its a mimic though? before you open it watch them and you will see, also if you throw the undead hunter charm or w/e at them they open normally and it stuns them for 30 seconds

hands down worst enemy in the game, didn't even realize until third playthrough their HP depelting aura is linked to line of sight

you are like 2/3 through the game btw, still got the best boss fights to come imo

think my first playthrough I finished up about 80-90, you don't get thrown into NG+ instantly like in BB, get a choice

straight out of berserk

you're near the end but there are a few optional areas that are quite meaty, easy to miss though, lothric castle's main boss is one of my favorites in the series, best boss theme too

Dancer was a pretty cool fight, didn't like how Yhorm was a gimmick fight though

Yea didn't like the fact I had to use that sword against Yhorm. I didn't build my character for it to be useless. Also apparently Siegward was important in that fight. I freed him from the prison after defeating Yhorm.

I know there is an optional area under the lothric castle. Where there is that toxic lake. Any other areas?

Not just the sun but that place where there are dead soldiers everywhere and two dragons. Very berserk like.

I spammed co-op at Yhorm for so long lol to get sunlight medals for plat, 3 ppl using the sword = he goes down in 10 seconds

toxic lake? uh, there isn't one, must be smouldering lake which you cleared out

optional area after the optional boss in lothric castle and you get something there that you need to go to the best optional area, you will know where if you gave it attention, involves using a gesture at a specific spot in Irithyll dungeon.

You know that ladder where you go up from the dancer? if you go straight then there is the lothric castle but if you go left then you end up going down an elevator. There is this weird purple gooey kinda monster too. Entire lake is toxic. Not explored it yet but thought that might be optional?

oh yeah, forgot it's sort of toxic, it is optional but very short, although make sure you pay attention in that area for secrets

Struggling against Oceiros

I dont know if its that place but my stamina and my agility is affected massively. I can't move without feeling like a 50tonne crate. It's so weird

I can get him to 2nd phase inside 20 seconds but after that I can't dodge properly at all.

Oceiros is pretty easy unless they patched him. Can see you struggling with a pyro build a bit. Think he has an attack that slows movement? one of his ice breath moves maybe

Yea just beat him using sword and shield. No pyro at all. Only way I could do it. Was easy that way

Boss was a rip off of Blood starved beast lol.

Really felt sorry for him though. Think his child was deformed and he realised that when he changed into 2nd phase.

Down Untended Graves now. Got invaded and died. smh

Dark firelink shrine Shocked

Place legit gave me the creeps man. Read the theories for it just now. People are saying that it's an alternate version of the firelink shrine. One where the flame has been extinguished or never lit. Champion grundyr was supposed to do it but woke up too late. hmm

champion gundyr was a cool fight, wondered why they wasted a GOAT theme on a throwaway boss at the start lol

yeah man, you need to get into the lore of the series fully if you find it interesting, really cool stuff.

what game are you playing when you're done with DS3 or taking a break from gaming? DS2? gets a lot of hate for no reason from dark souls snobs who think it's the worst, still a really good game.
