Unforgivable. Disgraceful. Bottled a unique chance, a second year out of CL would have been getting dangerous for Utd.
Different thing. Your brother being a man is not unforgivable and disgraceful, in itself.that's a bit strong don't you think. looks like your the kind of fan that looks at his team in disgrace if they lose a game. most football fans are better than that.Hapless_Hans wrote:_Hans"]MR BOND wrote:

thank god for the 50+1 rule. The very word 'owner' should be unacceptable in club football tbh.

Mr Bond, you don't understand.
Most reasonable people hate Utd, and were rooting for Liverpool.
Top 4 was handed to you on a silver platter.
You let us down. That's inexcusable.

If winning the CL could be accomplished by wins over Hull and West Brom, I would

so you clap when you win. then boo when you lose. a club like Bayern deserves better fans than that. still that's what you get from glory hunting fair weather fans.Hapless_Hans wrote:MR BOND wrote:im not sure how that's a disgrace tbh. will you call Bayern a disgrace if thay don't win the champions lge.Hapless_Hans wrote:Mr Bond, you don't understand.

Re: Barclay's Premier League '14-'15 discussion V9
cmon Bond, he's right ffs.
We would be in the FA Cup final and in top 4 right now had we beaten 3 relegation fodders in succession. Completely inexcusable for the club of Liverpool's stature. heck it's arguable that the 3 matches were probably the most important period of the season for us.
We got outplayed in all 3, showing zero heart and playing like shit.
People love to look over a season an claim that blah blah Chelsea, Arsenal, United, City have money money than us and pay bigger wages than us, and can attract better players.
But our season has fallen to shit not because of those teams being too good. Our season has gone to shit because we can't even beat the likes of Basel, Besiktas, Aston Villa, WBA, and Hull.

I admit I'd boo if Bayern would draw against West Brom and then lose to Hull, when that meant not reaching a CL quali spot.

Let me put it this way.
If my Bayern team would bottle CL quali against Hull and West Brom, they'd have to walk alone for a bit

I agree they were bad results. but to call the team a disgrace and boo them is not something a good fan does imo. now if Bayern winning games makes hans feel like he is the king of the world then fair play to him.Don't call me James wrote:cmon Bond, he's right ffs.

Actually there's no rule book on how to be a fan. In your opinion being a fan means never booing the team and the manager no matter what. I disagree with that. When the manager is clearly an idiot and the players play like they don't give a shit, I wouldn't just boo them, if I had the chance I would pummel them to the ground and give them a good ol' beating.

its down to you how you support ( or don't ) support your team. but the reason Liverpool fans are world famous is not for the way they support the team when they win. but for the way they support the team when they lose.Hapless_Hans wrote:Let me put it this way.

then your not interested in supporting the team. your only interested in a team that wins. I want the team to win every game. but I have no time for glory hunters that only sing when they win.Don't call me James wrote:Actually there's no rule book on how to be a fan. that's a bit unfair to fans of other top teams, who quite simply don't get that many chances to show that kind of support like Liverpool fans do

you made a good point there mate. fans of top teams last as long as the team are winning. fans of a great club do a bit more than that.Hapless_Hans wrote:MR BOND wrote:its down to you how you support ( or don't ) support your team. but the reason Liverpool fans are world famous is not for the way they support the team when they win. but for the way they support the team when they lose.Hapless_Hans wrote:Let me put it this way.

Re: Barclay's Premier League '14-'15 discussion V9
Actually I've had 2 different points, and I'm happy to repeat them for you.
1. Liverpool not reaching top 4 under these circumstances is an epic fail.
2. If Liverpool fans appear to be more supportive in losses than other top teams' fans, that's merely due to the simple fact Liverpool lose more games than those teams.

Hans is right, even after losing to united and arsenal back to back, it was games against lower club that cost us, to think *bleep* hull(Disgraceful loss) and a draw to WBA cost us the top4, FML. We nearly *bleep* bottled it against QPR, missing out on top 4 his year which when we could of done it can only be blamed on ourselves.

Re: Barclay's Premier League '14-'15 discussion V9
Liverpool lost the best 2 strikers in world football from last season so that's going to hit hard. and Liverpool are one of the most successful clubs in world football. so the fans have seen plenty of wins. the difernce is. unlike glory hunting fair weather fans. they also give great support when things are not going great. you should try it mate. the next time your team is not doing great support them. don't just clap when they win.Hapless_Hans wrote:Actually I've had 2 different points, and I'm happy to repeat them for you.

what you say is true. we could have. and should be doing better. but to say the team is a disgrace is nothing more than a dumb comment from a glory hunting fan that follows a team that wins.mr-r34 wrote:Hans is right, even after losing to united and arsenal back to back, it was games against lower club that cost us, to think *bleep* hull(Disgraceful loss) and a draw to WBA cost us the top4, FML. Re: Barclay's Premier League '14-'15 discussion V9
No one is telling you to stop SUPPORTING them when they lost to Hull and West Brom. Liverpool fans and neutrals who don't like Man Utd are FRUSTRATED and INFURIATED at them for losing games that they easily could have won. Showing frustration and being angry at your team is part of being a fan. To be a fan you support teams at their bad times but you should also not accept them for being bad in the first place...that's how you settle for mediocrity.
