Re: Barclay's Premier League '14-'15 discussion V9
If Liverpool get their act together(hopefully not ofc) they'll get top 4, maybe even Spurs.
Our tactics have been found out and we look clueless to counter it. In a rut at the worst possible moment.
Palace, Arsenal, Hull. Not confident at all atm.
Also for some comic relief, LVG moved RVP into MF and played Fellaini up top. So we had both our strikers playing as centre mids

Definitely wont be the same case next season, Chelsea winning so comfortably.

You need FIVE points, considering we win our remaining games, to finish 4th.RED wrote:If Liverpool get their act together(hopefully not ofc) they'll get top 4, maybe even Spurs.

Ironically the last time the league was this bad was when Chelsea was buying their titles in Mourinho's first tenure.

Maybe. If we have any sense at all we'll sack LvG and hire Klopp. I won't be watching otherwise.

Unforgivable. Disgraceful. Bottled a unique chance, a second year out of CL would have been getting dangerous for Utd.

Nope.
Why not? It would mean more of a spending spree, which in turn means less continuity, van Gaal won't be a better manager next season and THEN one more year out of CL would have meant their kit deal would be reduced by something like 30%

Different thing. Your brother being a man is not unforgivable and disgraceful, in itself.

In the sense like Bayern, Barca and Madrid no CL doesn't really effect them.
They have a bottomless pit of cash to fall back on.

United lack so much quality everywhere on the pitch. Didn't realize it until checking the lineup on Whoscored.
McNair-Smalling central pairing.
Valencia rightback.
Fellaini-Rooney in central midfield.
Blind leftback.
Young LW.
RvP CF.
And Carrick is 34 next season. They need everything to compete at the top again.

Re: Barclay's Premier League '14-'15 discussion V9
Pretty sure i read that somewhere
Anyway i do believe they have been found out, funny thing about the premier league is that defenders take a very long to adapt to certain line ups, players and trends.
Which explains a lot of the one season wonders who just disappear off the face of the planet, but once its figured out it doesn't usually work ever again.

At what point will Newcastle actually consider hiring a manager?
Because they're headed straight for relegation, no doubt about that.
