Star Wars: Battlefront

I'm going to wait for my dinner first and then i'll be on after.

My best game with Luke & Vader from earlier today

Seems more " what i want added" than what i dislike lol.

Said before that really my only issues are imbalancing in favour of Empire and spawns.

There a few things he said there that he wants added like spawning on 3 people instead of 1 vehicles having weak points etc etc that i agree with.

Not really fussed about the balancing stuff with regards to cards and weapons, maybe i will once i have played it more but as of now it doesn't bother me.

I just hope there is enough content. Massively disappointed there is no historical campaign.

Playing 10 modes in 15 odd maps will get boring in few months

With the new Canon system, I doubt they'll make any Battlefront game canon as far as story. The best option we have for story in Star Wars games is old repuclic games, since they aren't connected to the current movies.

Also pretty hard to make games canon, since they can vary so much form player to player.

If the gameplay is good enough to support it i'll enjoy it for months IMO.

CoD at it's peak didn't have much outside of a few maps and modes but people played it for months on end because the gameplay kept them coming back.

That's the most important thing, too early to say but so far i'm enjoying the gameplay more than any other shooter in years.

It's simple and fun and not bloated so much stuff which makes the game not fun for the sake of content sake.

Pretty sure everything's canon now Atleast almost everything.

All books, movies, comics etc. that have been made since Disney bought Lucasfilm.

What i meant by that is could they do an original story?

Say do a game about the origins of Han Solo, when i said not canon i mean whether it's a game based on any of the movies is anybodies guess.

Because i doubt it will be.

It would probably have to be before the movies, or in the gap between.

Would love to see a Han Solo game of some sort, sadly I doubt there'll be one.

Easiest way to balance the sides is to make it so there is MAX 4 AT-ST's per checkpoint. They are OP and whilst they should be OP and the empire should be geared to get more kills having wave after wave of AT-ST is crap because I don't even have the will to take them out at the first checkpoint any more because as soon as I do the powerup spawns again for some pleb to get.

Agreed. Also the fighting ships are pretty shit.

Hate being the rebels and loads of people just keep going for ship spawns it's a joke. Makes the objective impossible because people are too busy flying around taking in the scenery when i'm trying to defend 2 uplinks from robot chickens, giant robot death machines and darth *bleep* V

Plus it's also because people in the ships don't use them to help the ground war by taking out turrets and Robots they just get involved in pointless fights in the air that make no difference whatsoever to anything.

Saw these 2 plebs chasing around half the match trying to lock on but couldn't do it. Meanwhile the enemy had 3 turrets right near the trenches so no one could get near the uplinks

I enjoy fighting in the air tbh, it's legit fun for me especially when there's more than one in the air which most of the time there is.

I will admit i don't put down cover fire as much as i should, but manly because everytime i tried i would crash

I actually learnt how to slow down yesterday so hopefully i can improve in helping out those on the ground.

Aircraft is easy to use and really helpful for the people on the ground. If there's enemy aircraft, fly all the way up then go down with speed reduced to 0 and lock n shoot the aircraft. When that's over you can easily take down AT-ST & Turrets if you tone down your speed.
