Wow, I see why Morata was struggling a bit as well... They looked very shaky together. Llorente actually did well... He moved a lot. Now I understand why Morata was subbed out.

I would also prefer Madrid too Barca or Bayern. With a fit Pogba i think it's a 40/60 game without a fit pogba i would say 30/70 in favour of Madrid. barca and Bayern we have no chance IMO. The wings are to wide at Barca and we will get found out to easily. Bayern and just Bayern to much depth and quality

Would be hilarious if we won the CL now after bayern, Madrid and Barca are all salivating at the chance to knock us out.

Historically we do well against Madrid so there's always that hope. Can't forget that 2008(?) CL group games when we beat them both home and away Very Happy

Would love to knock out Madrid in the semi's and barca in the final.

We've gone past them the last two times we faced them in knockout fixtures(2003 and 2005),so there's that too.

And against Sampdoria on the weekend? Wouldn't it be good to rest them the weekend so you go fully fresh with one week rest and less danger of injuries against Madrid?

Yeah I am aware that every barca fan is a juventino now....

You can't just rest all of your players... You can rotate some, but not all... Ex. we are resting vidal this game and then marchisio may be rested on Saturday. ...

You can't just rest all of your players... You can rotate some, but not all... Ex. we are resting vidal this game and then marchisio may be rested on Saturday. ...

Guardiola did it with us before crucial games when the league was won and the results were fantastic.

The scudetto is under lock and key so hopefully we don't get any major injuries or anything. With us winning the scudetto that will mean even more dollars coming into the club woo hoo.

Hopefully. A fully rested Juve vs. a fully battled Madrid at Sevilla. Would be amazing if you can pull this off.
