I know people love to hate on English players but he's legitimately great and proves it season after season.

I think Kane is great too, as is Icardi. Nothing delusional about how good he is, if Icardi played for a better team he would have insane hype. As to what player one might prefer, both have things going for them. What is certain is that Icardi definitely hasn't done less relevant things Kane. It's not like Kane has shone in CL or the Euros before. It's all domestic.

Can we talk about skills as opposed to hype? Whaf exactly is Icardi better at? He is a good finisher and is pretty clutch. That's pretty much it. As far as dribbling, assisting, leading the line, off the ball movement, etc is concerned Kane is better. And he's no slouch when it comes to finishing or big games either.
