Will Kane confirm his performance in 2015/16 or remain a one season wonder?
Harry Kane: 2015/16 prediction poll
just a poll to see where GL stands on this, running for 3 weeks.

Re: Harry Kane: 2015/16 prediction poll
I voted for 'he's just starting', though my gut tells me right now that's wrong. I'm hungry though at the moment, so my gut might be wrong itself.

Re: Harry Kane: 2015/16 prediction poll
Seen enough of him at this point to know he's just getting started.
Will he regularly be able to do what he did last season? No, not regularly. Will he even this season? That's hard to tell--he was quite incredible last season after all. However, will he be Spurs best player and continue to have consistent output over the course of the season, rather than fade into oblivion like a one season wonder would? No doubt in my mind.
He'll be key for Tottenham this season and I expect him to be near the top of the goalscoring charts again if he doesn't get injured.
I've officially bought into the hype

Hope he at least scores 15 goals, my fantasy team would be a lot better if he's not a scrub.

Re: Harry Kane: 2015/16 prediction poll
I'm not sure whether he got a few easy goals last season that he won't be so lucky to get this season, or has he just got good poaching instincts and can get those easy goals on a regular basis.
My gut feeling says he'll flop. Although it helps him tremendously that, as of now, Tottenham have no other striker that would be taking his place even if he goes on a bad run.

He has skillset that will translate well into this season imo. Don't think he's one season wonder. Usually with one season wonders defenders figure out how to play agaisnt them and since their array of skills is limited they get found out. Kane has good fundamentals for a ST and good physical attributes. Imo he gets around 15-20 goals which is great for him.

It's not like he scored all his goals in the 6 yard box.... dude has skills. He is no Bacca.

Not all, but he got a fair few from close-range just by being in the right place at the right time. In such cases it can be plain luck or good poaching instinct. His second season will show which it is.

Every striker gets some of those. Only Bacca gets almost all of them like this.
Excluding penalties, lucky rebounds and absolute tap ins, he still scored 16 quality goals.

Re: Harry Kane: 2015/16 prediction poll
Well he would be coming up against Jones and Blind in all probability come Saturday. I dont think he can get a better motivation and confidence booster than that going into the new season.
Voted for Just starting. Cos I firmly believe he has something going for him and he is kind of.. legit. Surely he wont get as much goals as last season this time. But even if he doesnt and can only slot in some 15 goals in the league, and more elsewhere, that would be fine Imo. After all the lad's only 22.

I think people underrate the value of tap-ins anyway. You still have to have quick reactions and good movement/positional sense to be there for those consistently.

The season he just had is not a fluke. He's very good at what he does well. Not the classiest but he scores . I see him scoring around 15 goals , more depending of how his team plays.

He is the lone striker behind Lamela, Eriksen and new prime Pedro Chadli. Just being average he would score 15 this season, injury permitting.

I don't think it's a fluke in the sense he will disappear off the face of the earth but i don't think he will better it in his career.

he'll probably continue to get better but statistically he'll get worse if he stays with spurs.

Not a great start to the season, seems to be low on confidence at the moment. Rushing when he has time, stumbling over balls and not finishing with confidence.

Been isolated, and when he does get involved in build up, which i like to see, he drops a bit too deep for me. This is due to Spurs lack of a good CM tho imo. I don't think he's been bad, he's just not red hot like before. Early times yet.
He's had at least two brilliant finishes that were called back when he was offside though he'll score soon.

Re: Harry Kane: 2015/16 prediction poll
As I said just before this, Spurs lacking a good CM was really costing them, but the team has come together for now, and Kane is benefiting. Having Dembele play like one of the best CM's in the league right now, Dier being a stud at DM and Alli being a revelation, he is no longer as isolated as he was.
Anyway, is it too soon to bump this? Probably a bit soon. Still, I'm excited because he really is just getting started right now

One season wonder
Only Aguero rivals him as best striker in the league, and Kane doesn't get injured. Aguero gets a niggle and he's out for months, Kane breaks his nose and he plays the rest of the game, not realizing that he broke his nose
Then scores with a mask like he's prime Christian Bale
