Re: Liverpool v Leicester
Well, I disagree. We blocked 2 of our own shots that looked like they could have been goals (or tested the keeper quite well if not) and had a few blunders in the box with headers and/or set pieces that just missed. On top of which I think if the ref hadn't called the first pen (it wasn't one) he probably would have called the one on Borini at the end which was a close one.
Position in the table is not always indicative of form. Leicester came out today and played their hearts out. They wanted it much more than we did and that was obvious from the get-go. Sometimes that happens. I'm confident because even in our draw today we still didn't look as bad as United or Arsenal who both deserved a loss. We've looked much better than them over the last 10 games, and I think with Sturridge coming healthy we'll continue to look better than them. Eventually our form will overtake theirs considering we are not that far behind them in points, and I don't think Southampton or Tottenham have the quality to stay ahead.
I also choose not to get down because of one game here or there. I like to look at the whole and the progress and for me there's been plenty of progress over the last 5 - 10 games that I like. It will only get better when everyone is healthy and drilled. Don't forget we've also played a lot of games over the last little while with essentially the same line-up.

That moment when you've got to start your defense of the team's performance with a sentence like that after playing the bottom team at home

The whole united and Arsenal thing is BS as wll, they've been riddled with injuries, we've only missed sturridge, united are what 8 undefeated mate.

Yeah, and Arsenal have been missing Walcott, Özil, Ramsey, Wilshere, Arteta... that's like us missing Sterling, Lallana, Henderson and Lucas.

Re: Liverpool v Leicester
Would somebody please explain...
#1. Why do we use our best midfielder as wingback when we have Enrique, Manquillo and Markovic for that role???
#2. Why do we use our best midfielder as wingback and use two washed-up and totally incompatible players in midfield???

I think Brendan Rodgers is the only man who can answer that. Personally I got too tired to see his answers and I rather have a new man answering these questions in the future.

Gained control of the scoreboard by an absolute gift of a penalty and we still manage to get dominated by Leicester at Anfield.

Re: Liverpool v Leicester
we were so f**** lazy, careless and that is the reason we got dominated in the second half. I mean after having a 2-0 lead, how can this team concede two goals in two minutes...I wonder what BR must have told everyone in the break.

Because Henderson is better than any of those players and is capable of playing the position well (and he does).

Pressure to use Gerrard. It will be even worse now that he's announced he's leaving in the summer. Fans, management and everyone alike will be expecting him to play out as much as possible in his final season.

Re: Liverpool v Leicester
Don't think Rodgers will tweak with a winning combination apart from replacing Skrtel off-course.
Gerrard will start this and you better believe it.
