Unprepared how? Alexis, Walcott, Chamberlain, Wilshere, Ramsey and even Joel Campbell is adequate cover for Welbeck.

It's a massive shame, anyway. Welbeck could have really pushed to establish himself as starting forward, what with the uncertainty over the position at the moment. Who knows what the situation will be when he comes back.

If there's a positive to this, it means Ox will now get more games.

he's the only one who can play centrally or be a target presence upfront to help the flow of the offense even if he isn't scoring himself.

Giroud is going to have to play every game now. Alexis and Walcott cannot play effectively centrally at all.

Would be Great if Joel could do something for us but even with this I doubt Wenger even plays him and opts to just play giroud every game multiple times a week instead. Welbeck was the only legitimate striker option to rotate we had.

And our alternatives to not landing Benzema/targets to fill in for Welbeck were Korkorin and Zaza.

I would put money on there having been a moment when Wenger sat with his phone in his hands, the only light in his room at night while his wife slept, with a Whatsapp convo with Marouane Chamakh open, hesitating over whether to text him.

I would gladly take Chamakh back for free and sell him at the end of the year, Giroud wont like it though. Very Happy

Arsenal have always an incredible series of injures , more than other clubs. I don't know if it is just a case or it has to do with Wenger. But it's really so strange .

Without the luck of 2 own goals this year we would not have won a match. Maybe this is just a continuation of our good luck. If another starter gets injured maybe Wenger will have to come up with a different lineup and some different tactics.

One of the best facility wise, we also got Shad Forsythe from German national team, one of the best physio last year . So yeap, it's not what I think, it's on paper. Whether that translates to player fitness on the field or not, I don't know, like I said we're supposed to.
