Stupid, stupid decision really

Only thing left now is Utd to sign Benatia for 40 or less.

I am very curious to see where Mascherano will now be in the CB pecking order and for that matter also DM pecking order.

Barca medical staff have decided that Thomas Vermaelen will undergo surgery to fix an ongoing problem [RAC1]

Laughing Could have come for free next summer. They should rename Emirates to Barcarates or smth, fairly certain Barca funded at least 50 % of the stadium costs. Laughing

Soon, whenever you purchase a ticket you will get prompted:

"Do you want to donate $1.00 to the Support Arsenal charitable foundation?"

Did you hate Zubi before? wanna hate him more?

According to Grau's(reporter from TV3) explanation, the medical tests Verm was submitted were more extensive than usual, and lasted for a whole day. At the end of the medical, the club doctors told zubi and the board that Vermaelen should had surgery before being signed, because they were unsure about his physical state. But zubi decided for no surgery, that a conservative treatment would be better, and signed him without the surgery.

Txiki Begiristain was pretty good as far as im concerned. And on top of that, he had less control than Zubi as far as I can tell, Txiki took input from Cruyff and a higher degree the coaches than Zubi seems to (I think there is no doubt Martino had much less say than Pep)

So where did it go wrong, was he rushed to training, or what? And did he get his first injury while he was at Barca, or did he sign the contract while he was injured/carrying a minor knock?

I feel bad for you guys. Sad I don't even understand how he can take decision like that, when he knows he can't sign anybody else for a almost a whole year and a half.

Hopefully, he gets the sack before the next eligible shopping window for you guys.

Anyone else feels at least sceptical at the compulsory annual ~20m transfer from Arsenal?
I mean it’s a recurring trend that can’t be justified by football logic.

If he had joined United he would've probably needed leg amputation.

Zubi has been sacked by Athletic because he was too incompetent to scout players within a single region in Spain since Athletic only sign Basque players. It's a piss take that this guy and an unelected president are running Barcelona right now. Every random fan on this forum would do better (free_cat excluded, I don't need to see Pedro first name on the team sheet).

Barca signing logic:

-Any ridiculously expensive signings we can make?

If no then...

-Any Catalans we can sign?

If no then...

-Any Arsenal players we can sign?

If no then...

"There are no players in the market that can play for Barca"
