I have to admit, I'm pretty excited to see how he does with us. One thing he does that Messi lacks, is that he will play his ass off the ENTIRE 90 minutes regardless of what the score or who the opponent is. That alone should open things up for Messi/Neymar up front...and hopefully we never see Pedro play again. By this point it's clear Munir should be ahead of him in the pecking order. Hell even Sandro lol

means we were in talk during the world cup then he messed up and got scared.

I wasn't in favor of this signing considering it an unnecessary luxury but I have to admit that I am eagerly waiting for his debut. He is a complete maverick which makes it so hard to say how things will shape up once he becomes an integral part of the jigsaw.

dont think anyone here really questioned him, since the friendlies in barca b etc he has shown his skill, but we all understand he still lacks fitness and isn't 100%

it's the media trying to spin it all out of control like always, saying suarez can't play without being the main guy etc etc.
but what else can you expect from marca etc.

I don't even blame the media for writing nonsense about Suarez or others players. Those guys make a living from it

So I was reading barcaforum and a lot idiots on his back already.

What are your thoughts on him so far?

He has to improve. It's as simple as that. You can (tbh more like: have to) question tactics, formation and whatever you want but at the end of the day he has to do better. Of course so far he only played a handful of games so it's not really a problem yet but he can't continue like this for too long because imo regardless of his price he just wasn't good so far.
Anyway he scores a few goals in the next few games and the same people who are on his back atm will tell you he's last summers best transfer.

Can't blame him with this current playing style. Every striker in the world is accustomed to space and transitions when going forward. Barca's post Pep poverty Cruyffian possession football has the backline positioned around the halfway line, 22 players squeezed into 1 half, centerbacks and midfielders pinging the ball around for an eternity until releasing it to the forward when he has already 3 defenders on his back. Needless to say, only Messi can consistently unsettle numerous defenders in such crowded areas with no space. Put Cristiano upfront at Barca and he will score 10 goals a season if he's lucky. Fact.

World class forward line, but average midfield and disgusting back line. I don't blame him.

Only bandwagoners can ask from a player who had such a long spell of not playing and moving to a completely new league to do magic. It can happen, but most likely he will need time. Just take a look at Nerman.
