I'll happily admit that I have so far been quite wrong about the Dutch. They are vastly exceeding my expectations.
Long may it continue.

They one of those select few who are playing good football and still winning. Really happy for them. My favorite European team.RedOranje wrote:I'll happily admit that I have so far been quite wrong about the Dutch. They are vastly exceeding my expectations.

England out and hoping Uruguay too dont travel too far. Need to sort out pre season. Suarez leaving will lead to a huge change in plans.

Fifa's going to *bleep* him nice and good, his getting a massive football ban now, which idiot bites 3 times FFS, not once, not twice, but 3 times, his value now sits in the negative, the guys is a deadset idiot.

Re: The World Cup Thread
What an idiot he is on the pitch, really. A hat-trick of f****ng bites in his career?! Incredible. No one's going to be talking about anything else but his biting when the season starts, the press will haunt him and all the non-LFC fans will ridicule him. It could become unbearable for him in England (and ultimately lead to a change of scenery).

Hopefully Barca and Madrid will want nothing to do with him.
Let him get a lifetime international ban. So he can't play for Uruguay again.
I'm just afraid FSG will have had enough of his bullshit.

Re: The World Cup Thread
I can't see this ending well for Suarez if it turns out that he did bite again. Really hard to tell from the replay but it does look like he did. What a crazy guy.

The problem is he clearly has some mental issues.
Last 2 times when he bite I honestly thought he was doing it create controversy and get a transfer .
Seeing him do this in a Uruguay shirt , he clearly can't control himself .
How can we be sure he won't do that again in a LFC shirt ? And if he does FA will at least ban him for entire season and deservedly so .
He really needs some physiatrist help

Re: The World Cup Thread
I think this bite just guaranteed he'll be staying with us.
As long as FIFA's ban doesn't concern club football, it's great news for us.

Until he does it again in club football and gets banned while carrying a massive wage bill and affecting not only LFC's reputation, but our ability to attract other players.
It's sad because he's such a fantastic footballer, but if that Sanchez + cash deal is on the table I hope they take it.

Re: The World Cup Thread
As long as he keeps his biting to a minimum, this could be a blessing in disguise for Liverpool in terms of football. In terms of marketing.... not so much

Re: The World Cup Thread
FIFA can tell the FA to issue a ban if they want too, though.
I swear he's sold his soul to the devil as a kid. How can you have that much of a personality split RIGHT AFTER the 90 minutes is done? Look at his performance/attitude today. He didn't give a flying f*ck about anything. Final whistle came. Realised what had happened. Something's fishy.

Untreated bipolar?
I'm more than sure the FA are willing to suggest to FIFA that the ban should comea cross to his club.

another question in the mix, will other top quality players want to move to our club, knowing we have a player like Suarez?

Well, as long as they are on his side, it should be safe. The opponents will probably quake in their boots, too. Better get mass rabies vaccinations as precaution fast.HEIL MEIN REDS wrote:another question in the mix, will other top quality players want to move to our club, knowing we have a player like Suarez?

Rwo, i know you are having a nice time joking about all of this
But if I will think twice before I move to a club who supports such a player, knowing that this club is always going to be surrounded by controversies because of such a player, unless I am also controversial like Suarez or there is a massive incentive for me

Liverpool should take the FA to court if they try.
He wasn't playing for Liverpool. He wasn't playing in England. He wasn't playing in the Premier League.
The FA can't really do anything at all, unless FIFA says they can. Which would be bullshit if they do, because they've never done it ever.

Henry dude will go furious if FIFA takes any action at club level and I am sure he wont tolerate it and take some action against it. He is a businessman and wont let his prime asset depreciate like this
