I don't know for Brazil I would've swapped Maxwell for Filipe and either Dante/Henrique for Miranda. Especially if its team chemistry your after, considering both Miranda and Filipe have a great understanding and have played over 50 games with one another.

Comparing that possible line up to USAs best possible 11 that l can think of just makes me want to cry. This is going to be a difficult game to watch.

Rumours that Diaby made the provisional French squad. Morgan Schneiderlin set to be called up as well.

You forgot Khedira and Mertesacker, 100% starters if fit.
As for Diaby, really glad for him if true - there are so many players who probably deserve that chance instead though. Schneiderlin is one of them and a wise decision to call him up.

I know Diaby is good, but the guy hasn't played one second of football this season...RealGunner wrote:Rumours that Diaby made the provisional French squad. Morgan Schneiderlin set to be called up as well.
Crazy. But anyway it's just the provisional squad, would be really surprised if he made the plane to Brazil.

Well seems like Vela really did *bleep* himself over with the National Team. He'd be their best player too if he was called up. Pity.

Re: World Cup 14 Squads Discussion
there are many rumors with Vela, he does not want to play for Mexico because unlike some other national teams, he wont get money from it.
he has also openly said he doesn't like football at the much and sees it more of a job then a passion.
the other rumor is he is trying to rebel against a coach or staff that has insulted him.
and gio > vela for NT

Re: World Cup 14 Squads Discussion
There are many stories about Vela, I heard that he has refused to play because he was punished more severely than any other player after that party.
To be honest it's a shame, he's losing out on an absolutely fantastic opportunity.
On another note if Diaby makes the France squad provisional or actual I will laugh my head off, the guy hasn't racked up 20 top level games in the last 2 years.
How in the world his weak body will be able hack a WC I will not know.

More or less yeah, if Wilshere is fit he will start as will Gerrard and Henderson.
Which means Sterling or Lallana will be a impact sub along with Barkley and one of the two will start.

Re: World Cup 14 Squads Discussion
Anyone but Glen frigging Johnson at RB. He is one of the worse rb in the premier league. A horrid player who I feel will cost England dearly if he starts.
Lampard and Milner being chosen is baffling to me.
Ashley Cole should have been picked instead of Baines, who I don't really rate tbh.
I agree with the rest.

RED who would you pick over Johnson, Lampard and Milner?
I struggle to think of anyone, maybe Barry for Lampard but that's about it.
We just have no decent defenders other than whats picked and same goes for CM, those who have been picked are all we have.
