Very blessed to have both one of the current best CM's in the world and the future best CM/AM in the world in the one team.

Colombia have an amazing attack. Fast and lethal. They are not favourites or even dark horses so I hope they play with no pressure or fear.

Implement an attacking formation and just make the matches fun.

my colombia team in fifa has a pivot of guarin and aguilar.
not sure if it would work in real life . they"ll probably need someone more reliable as a defensive cover , especially considering their shit center back duo and the defensive liability that is their attacking wingbacks.

Guarin and Quintero maybe. If they do play 4-2-2-2 btw. That's just my formation

They most likely will go for 4-3-3 or 4-4-2. Quintero is an AM so Guarin might partner Aguilar or Carlos Sanchez in a pivot.

If it's a 4-3-3 then they might go for

-------Quintero---Guarin-----Sanchez/Aguilar/Edwin Valencia

Cuadrado----------Falcao/Mart/Bacc---------James

James is much better and way more efficient when he plays behind the CF, that's the only issue.

This basically increases their chances exponentially that they'll return for the start of next season without injuries that could be had at the WC. They'll also be pretty fresh.

Ospina is one of the best GKs in Ligue 1. Zapata is not that good but decent enough and Eder Alvarez Balanta is exceptional player and a really promising talent. So their defence isn't that shit as everyone claims it is.

Scolari picking Napoli's Henrique is a joke; but picking Henrique over Castán is a travesty ... it's a classic Felipão selection, though; nothing really to do with meritocracy ...

Florenzi's snub is the most understandable, since there's far too much competition in midfield or out wide ..
