I think you havent been following our NT recently, because Filipe Luis has like 1-2 starts since Scolari took over and Maxwell has started most of our games post confederations cup and was one of our best players in every single one of those matches.

That maybe true, but still, not even giving a chance to Filipe Luis to show what he's capable of is a disgrace, he should've been called for one of the friendlies before the WC.

NT's are not always about the quality of the players as the teams tbh, compared to club tournaments. Chemistry is so important when you only play max 10 games a year with each other instead of 50. That is why you can't just pick players who haven't played on the team up to a WC.

Diego Alves should of gotten the call just based on his penalty saving stat, i mean how handy would it come in a shootout..

I'm slightly disappointed at the exclusion of Felipe Luiz and Diego Alves but I was already expecting that.

I would have liked to see Coutinho instead of Hernanes or Jo just to give him some experience.

Well, probably in the preliminary squad.

BTW, I'm most curious which GKs Jogi Löw will nominate. Manuel Neuer is a given, but then he has a number of GKs where he can't really do anything wrong anyway - from Roman Weidenfeller to Bernd Leno and Marc-André ter Stegen. And even GKs like Oliver Baumann, Kevin Trapp and Ralf Fährmann would probably have no problems to get into most other NTs (bar maybe Spain, Italy and Switzerland).

Oh, and talking about Switzerland - I would still prefer Yann Sommer to become the number 1 with Diego Benaglio as Nr.2. (And for Nr.3, I'm really curious whether Ottmar Hitzfeld will nominate Roman Bürki or Marwin Hitz, now that the original Nr.3 Marco Wölfli is injured.)
