More a problem for EPL players since they're used to perfect pitch conditions... everywhere else, you always have to deal with poor pitch conditions in lesser venues.BusterLfc wrote:http://assets.nydailynews.com/polopoly_fs/1.1826000.1402516988!/img/httpImage/image.jpg_gen/derivatives/article_970/pitchweb12s-3-web.jpg?enlarged
England-Italy going to be played here

Never even heard of Omam-Biyik lol
I knew him for scoring the only goal in the opening match of WC90 vs Argentina which was a big upset....

Take this quiz if you want to know which team you will secretly support in the World Cup:

My result was:

My result was:
The country you should support is…
Italy! To be honest, it was the Tuscany answer that swung it. But we could tell what you were after. A decent side with a fair chance of winning, and yet with its own inimitable identity and a manager you could get behind. Pirlo, Balotelli, Cassano – they’re all yours.

LOL, I knew it:
Switzerland! You have a taste for the finer things in life, but you also like seeing the status quo shaken up once in a while. For you, football is a game of honour. Your manager is the esteemed and decorated Ottmar Hitzfeld, and your team is the Swiss.

Re: World Cup 2014 General Discussion
Lmao it gave me Portugal which i secretly support.
Portugal! Basically, this pivots around Cristiano Ronaldo. You’re disturbed by him, but there’s also a part of you that’s fascinated by him as well. You’re fairly sure he can’t win a World Cup on his own, but part of you thinks he might just be able to. And really, you want him on your side just to make sure.

Spain! Let’s not beat about the bush here: you want a winner. You want guaranteed entertainment, guaranteed style, guaranteed quality. Open your curtains to the defending champions, Spain.

Mexico! You don’t want a hipster fad. You want a team you can really get your teeth into. Maybe a team from the wrong side of the tracks. A team with a strong, proud footballing tradition. You need some Rafa Marquez, Javi Hernandez and Giovanni dos Santos in your life.

The country you should support is…
honduras
Honduras! You want an underdog. You don’t mind taking on the strong likelihood of misery for a shot at the ultimate feel-good story. But you’re not just after a team; you’re after a journey. And after getting to know this hard-working but limited Honduras side, you’ll never be the same again.

The country you should support is…
argentina
Argentina! You want a team that’s going to win, and win well. You want a team with passionate fans and a wise old manager. Well, you can’t go far wrong with the team of Lionel Messi, Gonzalo Higuain and Sergio Aguero. If you don’t know anything about football, they’re all really really good.

Germany! Hey, you’re not messing around here. Empathy is weakness. You want a blockbuster side with blue-chip players. You want a manager who’ll put his turtleneck sweater on the line. You’ve landed the rugged and magnificent Germans.

How the tournament would play out if 32 countries were competing in things other than soccer.

"Uruguay! You’re after a dark horse, a country you can learn a little bit more about. You don’t mind cheering against England. And you’re one of the few people in the world with a modicum of respect for Luis Suarez. Obvious choice, really."

Russia! You’re stylish, but tough. You need a team that will fight to the death for your honour. That team is Fabio Capello’s Russia. Of course, in Communist Russia, you didn’t pick the team you wanted to support. The team picked you.
