Fulham v Liverpool
They did us a favour by drawing United yesterday, but we better not do them one by leaving any points to Craven Cottage on Wednesday night.
They're bottom of the pile and haven't kept a clean sheet in ages and have conceded 55 goals this season, that's 11 more than anyone else. We, on the other hand, have scored 63 goals, second only to Manchester City (68) and 15 more than the third-highest scorers Arsenal. In other words, we are bound to score, surely and certainly.
What comes to Fulham's attack, their two most creative strikers have been shipped out on loan, Ruiz to Holland and Berbatov, rather bizarrely, to Monaco. January signing Mitroglue hasn't featured yet, lack of match fitness or training? 18-year-old Tankovic started against United while his replacement Bent scored the equaliser. Shouldn't be too difficult to keep these guys quiet. Dempsey's there as well.
They might have what it takes to dominate the midfield at home, Sidwell, Kacaniklic, Holtby, Parker, Richardson, Duff, Kvist... Not great, but decent enough if they're able to have numerical advantage in the middle of the park. However, if we can play even at 75% of how we did against Arsenal, we're going to take the points to Merseyside. Then again, we beat Everton 4 - 0 and looked nothing like that team in our 1 - 1 draw against West Brom, I hope that pattern won't repeat here.
Will most likely be the same line-up as in the last few matches.

Their argument is that their security staff might not be able to make it there in strong enough numbers. I'd understand it better if it was about their fans not being able to travel. Send a few buses to pick up the needed staff, how hard can it be? Gutted if we won't be playing on Wednesday.

Re: Fulham v Liverpool
I think this game starts the the last part of the season as 1/3rd, exactly last 13 games to go starting from this game. So we better start building up for the end of the season in style. Although we have not expected us to be where we are right now, it is time to recalculate the targets and push a little higher so that we will be even at more distance from the other top 4 contenders.
Well I am not sure what kind of style Fulham play but it seems like we seem to do better defensively when hunt for the ball like a pack of wolves like we did against Arsenal. I think there are enough examples where we have already learned that we can not be lazy just because they are Fulham. And I think we will put a decent performance, so lets just hope we come back with three points.

Re: Fulham v Liverpool
Pre match facts:
-Fulham have lost 12 of their last 16 BPL games at Craven Cottage. (W3 D1 L12)
-Liverpool have kept just one clean sheet in their last 11 BPL away games....... (bonus pre match fact from me: we average shipping in 2 goals away btw............)
-Brendan Rodgers' side have won just 2 of their last 9 BPL away trips. (W2 D3 L4) [Not an issue they said, the criticism has become boring they said.]
-Luis Suarez has scored 4 goals in 4 BPL games against Fulham.
-Daniel Sturridge scored his only previously PL hat-trick in Liverpool's trip to Craven Cottage to play Fulham in the 3-1 win in May 2013.
-Darren Bent has scored 5 PL goals against Liverpool, perhaps the most famous in a 1-0 win while playing for Sunderland (Oct 2009), where his shot was deflected into the net by a beach ball thrown from the crowd.
-Darren Bent has now equalled his PL goal tally from 2012-13 (3), but all three of his goals have come after coming on as a substitute.
-Liverpool have scored a league high 10 goals from headers this season, but only two of these have come in away matches (both scored by Sturridge). (One was a hand ball. )
-No side has conceded a higher number (15) or proportion (27%) of their goals from outside the box this season in the PL than Fulham.
-The Reds have scored more first half goals in the PL this season (42) than 16 of the other 19 teams in the league have in total.

Yeah Chelsea dropped points, a huge chance to cut the distance from the top even more.

I twice had feelings of a thrashing this year! Once with Tottenham and another with Arsenal!!
So looking forward to a 100% record!

Think it was before Christmas when we were playing Cardiff, lots of our rivals dropped points and we took advantage with a win there and wewnt top until Boxing day

Re: Fulham v Liverpool
It will actually matter in this game which way the wind is blowing. Which ever half we're playing with tailwind should be when we get more adventurous.
Not too happy with the conditions.
Harsh to leave Ibe out, but kinda exciting to see a new face on the bench.

Well considering the upcoming FA Cup tie was thinking of Allen in for Gerrard
