What do we change! Moses for Coutinho! No wait Aspas for Suarez.
Well considering the upcoming FA Cup tie was thinking of Allen in for Gerrard

Honestly, has someone paid off Kolo Toure to f*** us over? Not even my grandma would have turned that weak cross into our own net. This guy needs to f*** off.

F*ck off Kolo. Seriously just fck off if we lose points here.
Gerrard that godly assist. Best pass of the season. UNBELIEVABLE
Fckin hate Fulham. Playing 6 frickin defenders in one line and the then the other 4 harassing us. Dowd not giving a single goddam foul until like the 45th minute for us.

Re: Fulham v Liverpool
I'd rather start Kelly or call Wisdom back to play CB rather than see Toure start another game this season. First I was in disbelief when we signed him, then he performed well and made me happy, but two mistakes of this magnitude, no f***ing thanks. You don't see stuff like that from any other CB in the league.
Gerrard's pass was orgasmic. The quick thinking and technique to pull that off, just fantastic.
However, overall we haven't played that great. Picked it up a notch after our goal, though, so hopefully that will continue in the 2nd half. But too tentative so far.

Agger did more in 2 mins then Kolo did in 90 mins.
What a win, But seriously if we would have lost, Spurs would have been level, Shows how less margin of error we have for this top4 spot.
gtfo Kolo never come back. Flanagan had an average game as well.
Anyone else notice how passionate Aspas was? Jumping all the time, Having a go at the ref from the bench.

Re: Fulham v Liverpool
Jack Black f***ing the Christ, that was close!
Gotta say we got a bit lucky there that Riether decided to make such a challenge - but then again, after what Toure did, it just feels like evening things up and a deserved winning goal!
Gerrard was my man of the match. Coutinho's goal was great, too, I don't think many of us were expecting such a finish from him after seeing some of his long-range shots this season. Sturridge fantastic, too, Suarez hit the post and played good, but he can be even better.
Flanagan was bad. I know there's a bit of wankfest going on among some of us about him, but he can be just so bad in possession, offer so little in attack and even makes some rash decision in defence that allow the winger run easily behind him. Gotta say I'd still take Johnson rather than him, at the end of the day there's just no question who is the better footballer.
Anyway, three massive points, especially since Tottenham won very decisively. Work to do on our away performances, though.

Re: Fulham v Liverpool
So, I'm with Red Alert in that Johnson should start ahead of Flanagan, but disagreeing that Gerrard can't perform in the holding role - I think it's obvious he can.
BBC wrote:The Liverpool skipper enjoyed a pass completion rate of 87%, winning eight tackles and losing just two - recovering possession nine times. Throw in a goal and an assist and it's easy to see why he's the toast of the Kop tonight.

I did, it feels nice to have such a player and spirit on the bench. Then again, if he's not good enough to aid us on the pitch...

Flanno did have an off game, but Johnson is simply awful. We obviously are looking much better without him.

Re: Fulham v Liverpool
I dont think so, Johnson and Jose will slot right into this 11.
Most of times when Sterling or Suarez go wide they dont expect Cissokho or Flano to flank them and go to the byline, Because they dont have that ability to cross or cut inside and make that incisive pass like Gleninho and Jose.
We go to the flank stop, Look back pass it to the full back who in turn pass it sideways to the center. With these two coming back we'll have more width and more creativity imo.

Johnson has had some awful moments this season, but at least he has moments. Flanagan is the most invisible player in the XI at the moment and not in a good sense.

Not really, Johnson has been awful for a couple of seasons now. Provides nothing special in the attack in spite of overlapping a hell lot of times and below average defensively. Flanagan/Wisdom and Kelly (before his injury) are cautious but atleast solid defensively.

At least Johnson shows up in attack. I mean, Aly freaking Cissokho is having better contribution in attack than Jon Flanagan. That's when you know your full-backs aren't up to the scratch. At least Johnson is available up there in attack, Flanagan is just so poor on the ball and today even his defending left a lot to be desired.
I really have not been happy with Glen Johnson this season, but, like I said, at the end of the day he's just so much better a footballer than Flanagan - and it's starting to show - that I would still pick Glen ahead of Jon - and I hope and believe that Rodgers sees this the same way.
