Liverpool V Fulham
After the disappoiting performance against in form Gooners, we are still third in the table.
So in November we have only three fixtures, out of that one is over so we have only 0 points in this month. So we should get maximum points from this game before we travel on the mersyside.
Things to be seen:
1. Scott Parker v Suarez, they seem to clash with each other every time they play against each other.
2. Whether we will continue with 3CBs formation
3. Coutinho will be expected to start after his injury break
4. Also whether Gerrard gets rested
5. Possibility of seeing Enrique back in action (I am getting sick of Cissokho really...if enrique isnt fit I will start Colin Pascoe in his place really)
http://www.liverpoolfc.com/news/latest-news/148716-jose-enrique-fitness-update
6. BR has said 'Johnson will play in this match'
7. Sascha Riether starts his three match ban so we should really crush them, question will be how many times we going to put the ball in the net?
8. The question remains, What about our vice captain
9. We must keep a clean sheet against a side who has recorded lowest average number of shots per game, I will be be pissed if we dont keep a clean sheet.
10. Here is the preview for you if someone is interested:
http://www.thisisanfield.com/2013/11/opposition-analysis-fulham-beat-cottagers-deficiencies/
Consecutive defeats in the league have seen Fulham drop to 16th in the table, and Jol is keen to string a few results together to get the Whites back up the standings to where the supporters want their team to be.
Must win game

Re: Liverpool V Fulham
Finally a thread the day before the match
I think we've all coasted this week expecting a pretty comfortable bounce back against this depleted Fulham side. Just hoping there aren't any surprises.
Also I think Agger will start. If we go by the bib theory he was finally wearing the same color bibs as Suarez, Gerrard, Lucas, Sturridge, Coutinho (yes he might start). Also Skrtel was wearing the same colored bib also, so maybe we'll see a 2 man back line with our tattooed bad boys at the back
RedO you should try to run into the field and hug Coutinho.

Re: Liverpool V Fulham
Ok so very good news, Johnson is back from injury And bib theory suggests he will start
Sturridge is a go also
Suarez is a green bib so he's in
Agger is finally a green bib
Lucas and Stevie both looking like retaining their spots
Coutinho is back in the team
Cissokho and Hendo are also both wearing the green bibs
Skrtel seems to be the only CB to retain his spot
According to the bib theory, Sakho will not be starting.
Enrique is still injured but Rodgers said there might be a tiny chance he might make it.

If we lose to this lot we don't deserve to be playing Champions League football. The whole organisation from top to bottom is a mess. It really should be a straight forward 3 point game. Let's just not mess it up, eh.

God, we need to win this and win big. What a horrible week I had: Liverpool lost, Leverkusen lost (twice), Dortmund lost, Roma drew, don't even bother about the shitty lot that called Valencia.

Re: Liverpool V Fulham
Another shit 2nd half, we should be scoring more goals when we are dominating teams like that. 1 second half goal shows them shutting down and being complacent, not good enough. It was a great overall performance, but it was fulham so meh. Aly was so shite today, thank god jose is back, cou looks rough, but some of his passes looked really great, gerrard played well, suarez was suarez.

What a performance
BTW BIB THEORY WAS CORRECT. The starting lineup was correct down to the tee.

Re: Liverpool V Fulham
Cissoko was injured at the start of the season and since he played only two games. I don't know if that's any issue but frankly, I would prefer Aurelio on a cratch than him.
Rodgers needs to have a chat with Sturridge. He isn't what he was in first 5-6 games. He is too desperate and that's taking a toll.

What makes great strikers, what they are is their hunger for goals.
Suarez has done it 1000 times in a game that he wanted to either complete a hattrick or get on the score sheet.
Sturridge helped greatly with our build up at times, and he actually set Suarez up 2 times !! in fantastic positions to score.
1) beginning of second half, he put Suarez 1 vs. 1 with their keeper
2) He intercepted Gerrard's shot, brought it on his left foot and shot that Skeletenburg saved masterfully and the rebound fell to Suarez and Suarez missed the open net.
It's true that Suarez' return means the goals between them are shared, but Sturridge still helps the team in chance creation massively. It was just one of those days for him. Ibra didn't score for 3 games either, before scoring 4 in the last 2.

Re: Liverpool V Fulham
Happy with the performance as this is what we needed as a psychological boost after the Arsenal horrorshow. Although we cannot gauge ourselves to well considering Jol's Fulham is a downright awful team.
Happy that Suarez returned to scoring form after the minor hitch vs Arsenal as Skrtel scoring is also quite a delight to view upon.
Cissokho? I warned you all, that this footballer is not a footballer, but merely a physical caricature of a fullback, to which he borders on diabolical decisions and occurrences. I will announce him as the Sulley Ali Muntari of fullbacks. Thank god Galliani rejected him for his teeth yet sadly, he had to plague my other team.
As for Danny, Sepi is absolutely 100% spot on. Very well said my friend as I agree with your wisely written counter-debate.

Re: Liverpool V Fulham
@ Sepi, you missed my point. It's not that Sturridge is not contributing or being selfish. He isn't is usual self. He is missing chances that he usually takes.
Against both Palace & Fulham he missed 4-5 chances of which he was expected to take at least 2. In first 3-4 games he scored from far more difficult positions.
He is trying a bit too hard, taking his shot a bit too early or a bit too strongly. His composure has faded not his contributions.
