"Milan is looking for ways to bolster their defense and midfield in the future. Two names are at the top of their list: Gabriel Girotto and Umtiti. Girotto is the defensive midfielder for Botafogo, where Seedorf used to play in Brazil. The current Milan coach holds him in high regard, both as a player and personality wise. Girotto’s current contract expires in December of 2015, he also has an EU passport. The other name is Umtiti, a French defender of Cameroonian descent who plays for Lyon. He was born in 1993, has a strong body and is a member of France’s Under 21 team. He is a player the rossoneri are very interested in. Milan is monitoring the situation of these two promising players."

It's a wishlist. You make it and expect somehow to get it, but not necessarily get everything on it.

PSG trying pretty hard to get as many France NT players in as possible lol... top 2 targets are Pogba and Griezmann. Also rumors of making a big run at Varane if he's forgotten by Carlo to finish the season (unlikely; but why not lol).

Who is available in the summer?

Mangala, Papadopoulos, Ranocchia, de Vrij and Alderweireld should be attainable. Mangala would be expensive.

Papa was always our first choice but who knows how his knees are holding up after so many operations. Would still be my number one target if he's healthy.

DeVrij and Alderweireld aren't even better than Agger/Skrtel. We've already looked at them and passed them up.

Mangala not in our price range. Plus I personally think he's overrated a bit.

Ranocchia Slow as a snail for the PL. But should be interesting.

none of them strike me with any confidence other than a fit Papa. But that's a huge gamble.

Anyone else? Would Miranda be available from Atleti?

Papadopoulos has played 7 first team minutes this season... coming in on after the 88th minute for 3 substitute appearances despite being fit and with the team since mid-December. He's played a further 90 minutes (1 match, start to finish) in the club's B-team.

I think it's fair to say he's no longer a particularly tantalizing option for clubs that want a consistent, dominant CB.
