Happy that Dortmund are getting Ramos, Ginter and potentially Drmic otherwise they would have left for Arsenal, Spurs kind of team anyway.

It makes the league more strong and teams like Freiberg with that money will be unearthing more gems

Inter are fighting for the signature of Real Madrid midfielder, Casemiro.

Inter face competition from Arsenal however for the signature of the 22-year-old Brazilian, who arrived at Real Madrid from San Paolo in January 2013.

Marca reported Arsenal’s late entrance in the race for the Brazilian midfielder, with the Spanish newspaper seeing the North London club as an obstacle to Inter’s interest.

Casemiro has only made eight substitute appearances for Real Madrid in the league so far, including five appearances in the Champions League.

Manchester United accept chances of signing Toni Kroos are 'remote'
• Club had hoped to lure Bayern Munich midfielder in summer
• Germany star likely to stay and sign new contract

Manchester United have accepted it will be difficult to buy Toni Kroos from Bayern Munich this summer, with one of David Moyes's prime targets expected to stay at the Bundesliga champions.

If Moyes cannot sign the midfielder it would be a major blow to the manager's plans as he seeks a major overhaul of his squad in the close season.

While United have not given up completely on Kroos and are prepared to keep all options open regarding the Germany international, there is a recognition that buying any elite class player is particularly tough due to the current market place. Even if Kroos were minded to leave Bayern, United would face stiff competition from a host of other top European clubs for his signature.

Kroos's contract with Bayern runs until 2015, so for as long as he has still not signed a new deal there is some hope the transfer could yet happen.

Moyes's team were knocked out of the Champions League by Bayern on Wednesday. As United are seven points off fourth place with only five games remaining, the chances of the club playing European Cup football next season are remote. This could prove a factor in any decision Kroos may take.

Kroos impressed during each leg of Bayern's 4-2 aggregate win over United in the quarter-final, as last year's winners seek to become the first side to retain the trophy in the Champions League era. Playing as a deep-lying midfielder, he was the chief orchestrator of attack for Pep Guardiola's team. It is precisely this role that Moyes wants to fill at United and Kroos, at 24, would be a player around whom the Scot could build his team for the foreseeable future.

Volker Struth, the player's agent, claimed earlier this week that Kroos will remain at Bayern. "We are confronted with a variety of rumours for months but at the moment I believe that Toni plays in Bavaria until 2015 at least," he told the German newspaper Bild.

2014 Summer Transfer Rumours Mk. II Empty Re: 2014 Summer Transfer Rumours Mk. II

Juventus general manager Giuseppe Marotta has rejected rumours of a possible deal with Paris Saint-Germain for Paul Pogba, claiming the club would reject the reported €70 million on the table for the France international.

The 21-year-old enjoyed a fine first half to the season but his poor form since January has sparked speculation that he has had his head turned by PSG's reported interest in signing him this summer.

Marotta, though, insists that there is no truth in stories that Juve have already agreed to sell the midfielder for €70 million.

"The rumours about the transfer of Pogba to PSG have no foundation," he told La Repubblica. "We want to keep Paul and prolong his contract.

"It's true that €70 million would be an attractive figure, but Juventus is a club that always aims to win trophies.

“In the past, these kind of sacrifices have been made - for example, we sold [Zinedine] Zidane to take [Gianluigi] Buffon and [Pavel] Nedved - but this is not the case.

“Anyway, today we do not have a concrete proposal, so there is nothing to talk about.”

Oliver Kays of Times says Liverpool are interested in Kroos, but it'd be amazingly expensive, hence not likely.

Apparently, 42 million euros to buy him, and then he wants 300,000 euros a week on a 5 yr contract.

lmaoooo......f that shit. let Mancs have himwith roooonatyyyyyy

But he hasn't said he wouldn't take Kroos, has he? He's only said that at that wage level it's not worthwhile (in his usual over the top way). And he's not wrong; Liverpool can't afford to pay that much for a player and offer such huge wages.

Yeah that would nearly blow most of our summer budget. And 300K for Kroos seriously even Suarez gets only 200k .

If we really want a German star BR should put all efforts to try to sign Reus.

Kroos can play in both an attacking midfield role and a central midfield role. He's also a quite different player from both Mata and Kagawa.

Diego Lopez has rubbished reports that he is unhappy at Real Madrid, joking that he will only leave if the club kick him out of the Santiago Bernabeu on his backside.

It has been claimed that the 32-year-old goalkeeper is frustrated by the fact that he is only Carlo Ancelotti's first choice for Liga games, with club captain Iker Casillas always preferred for Champions League and Copa del Rey clashes.

However, Lopez says he is more than happy to fight for the No.1 jersey and insists that he is not in the least bit unsettled at the Santiago Bernabeu.

"I have said many times," he is quoted as saying by Sportyou. "I have three years on my contract and I'll only leave if they kick me out on my ass!

"The rumours are a joke. I'll stay here. I'm very happy here and I will continue to fight for everything."
