Yeah, you'll like it. It doesn't really have any of the sociopolitcal themes that The Wire gave a lot of time to, it's like sons of anarchy but with corrupt cops.

just read through the last couple of pages of this thread and i have to say MT you'r limiting yourself too much!!! Also i want to know how the hell did you finish Breaking Bad season 1??

Also agree with my man RG and Mamad about Dexter. In which world is gus fring a complex character? He's character is fairly similiar to Esteban Reyes from weeds!

Dexter season 4 is better than the entire Breaking Bad series IMO.

Good to see someone else who likes Continuum. Not the best sci-fi show by a long shot and it's not at all original, but it's good nonetheless.

I'm giving a couple of new shows a try - Salem and Turn.

Turn has potential, but I don't see it happening for Salem.

Also, those of you who took a crap on Da Vinci's Demons need to give it another try. 2nd season has been fantastic thus far. The only issue I've ever had with this show is the casting as none of the characters actually sound Italian, which is the same issue I had with the Borgias Laughing

So Hulu Plus surprised its subscribers, of which I am one, and offered the full-length pilot of the upcoming Showtime series Penny Dreadful for available viewing. I watched it this morning and I'm not quite sure what to make of it. It reminds me so much of From Hell with elements of Grimm, Supernatural and the League of Extraordinary Gentlemen. Only 2 of those were worth watching imo. We'll see how this turns out though.

Oh and BAH GAWD Eva Green.....intoxicatingly beautiful woman, she is.

Tried the new BBC America series "The Musketeers" which is a TV re-imagining of the Three Musketeers, one of my favorite books.

I like the casting done here....actresses that play Constance Bonacieaux and Milady de Winter are absolutely ace. One thing I take issue with is they replaced Aramis' religious belief and instead made him a philandering manwhore That needed to have been Porthos, who is now the levelheaded roguish powerhouse of the group.

Beyond that, it's a decent show. It can grow as Peter Capaldi's star power will see to that. He's quite a good Cardinal, but I loved Tim Curry more.

Yeah the Batman prequel show looks rather good. I like the casting as well. It should be interesting to see the villains and future allies of Batman in their younger forms before they become what we know they will.
