The TV Series Thread - Part 5
Anyone watching Lovecraft Country?
HBO's Raised By Wolves begins tomorrow - first 3 episodes, I'm gonna watch those, drop if it sucks
Sci Fi from Ridley Scott and Ragnar Lothbrok

Almost done with my Justified rewatch. Still an elite show. Probably my personal favourite. GOAT villains. Raylan >>>>>>

Same on Lovecraft Country. That looks really bingeable for me.
Raised by Wolves - What an odd premise. Could go either way. Fimmel has star power when it comes to shows like this, but I don't think that will be enough if the writing isn't good. Will give it a try though.

Caught up on Cobra Kai. What a glorious continuation of the Karate Kid storyline.
One of my favorite binges this year.

No, but Borgen means the fortress in Swe/Dan/Nor. Is it Swedish?

Anyone watched Devs? It's quite good. I had watched the first 3 episodes months ago and got a bit bored, but am finishing it now and it is not bad.
A little grandiose in scale, perhaps, and it will probably get dumber and dumber if I think about it longer, but well made, great look, great music, intriguing elements and a very good lead actress.

It's Danish. Borgen is the nickname of Christiansborg, our parliamentary building.
Broen (The Bridge) is the collab

Re-watching Inbetweeners
There is nothing funnier out there man. It's an absolute ELITE tier sitcom.
Crying of laughter here. had to pause to post this. ffs
Shame the creators are massive frauds and couldn't make anything decent since then

Yea heard about that but wasn't sure how good it is. Will give it a try for sure after this.
Do you think Inbetweeners could have been made in today's age? I can't see it lol.

Watchmen and Succession the two best shows of last year really cleaned up.
Also gotta get continue SChitt's Creek apparently. First four episodes didn't appeal to me.

I watched the first season last week and it had some laugh-out-load moments, not sure why I slept on it for so long

Giri/Haji was okay for me, not that great. Not that fussed it got cancelled. It did get me into Flowers which has the actor that played Rodney in it.

Zendaya really is the acting superstar of this generation. I fully believe this. Her popularity and talent is really unmatched by anyone else.

My god, Flowers is incredible. Anyone who enjoyed Fleabag should watch this too. One of the best black comedies I've seen in any medium. Olivia Colman knocks it out of the park again and so do the rest of the cast. Has a very accurate and heartbreaking portrayal of depression.

Can’t wait for this, it drops on the 9th of October. House Hill is the best Netflix original series.
