Problem nowadays is that there are over 100 TV Shows out atm. Even more than that. If it was 2007, then all these shows would be big hits(by numbers at least) but the competition is fierce now. Why watch show A when there is a better show on a different channel?

And when the ratings are down and money doesn't come they get cancelled.

Speaking of which, Dracula is most likely going to get cancelled as well. And surprisnly Hanibal was being considered as the ratings are not high for it but they are deciding to renew it. And the thing with Hanibal is that it will get picked up by a different channel if it does get cancelled. So it's relatively safe.

For the most part? Yes. At least so far. Some major plots include stories from the previous season/series.

I've only started watching TV shows, like really watching, as of early last year. In that time I finished Lost, Breaking Bad. Started on TWD, TD, GoT, Arrow, Fargo, Orange Is the New Black.

Before that I only watched Prison Break season 1 and first few episodes of season 2, as well as Two and Half Men every now and then when it showed on tv.

Oh? In that case, that's quite impressive. 24 will take a lot of time to consume as its 8 seasons so there's no rush, I guess.

I judge every member of GL who's been watching TV shows for a while but has never watched 24 though. WTF is your problem? :facepalm:

Different people have different tastes. Aren't you the dude that didn't like The Wire? A lot of people would ask WTF is your problem? Wink

As for 24, I only watched the last season and I thought it was alright. A bit silly but watchable. It's like a poverty version of Strike Back but I'll give this new season a try.
