For me, True Detective had the best first season ever. I can't see how the next ones will live up to it. Prison Break never topped the first season and only and Dexter only did it on season 4.

Well it's all opinions anyway, let's not get all heated up pls Laughing

I didn't find Breaking bad season 5 part 2 to be the best thing ever tbh, also think ozymandias was waaay overrated, that's my personal opinion. Overall I just didn't like the story of Breaking Bad that much, even though I find it to be very well written and well told, and the aesthetics of the show was amazing. True Detective is by far the best Drama I have seen.
Woody and McConaughey should both get noms though, Woody is so underrated this season.

BTW guys, is Amarican Horror Story any good?

Also How I Met Your Mother, haven't cried this much since Lion King as a child, they were like family tbh Laughing

Y'all know what's going to make or has already made this first season of TD special, is that it is an anthology series.
This season is all we have from Rust and Marty. This is it. This is all there is to it. No further seasons to bring down the level of their story and performances.

That's what makes it special. It's a one hit wonder of a season.

HIMYM is not better than Friends.. the former had a significant drop in quality after the 5th season. I've grown up watching HIMYM, but I still feel Friends was much more influential and entertaining than its counterpart. Anyways, both are brilliant in their own aspects, such as HIMYM in its excellent narrative structure and Friends in its character development.

Having said that, have only watched the first 8-9 episodes of the latest season. Have to catch up on the rest.

First of all I cried like a baby watching HIMYM finale. Laughing

Second of all, gtfo if you think it's better than Friends. It's amazing but still can't touch Friends.

Damn gonna miss Barney the most. And Marshall and Ted as well. And Lily and Robin. But mostly Barney. Sad

Thanks for the SciFi suggestions, guys. Out of the ones mentioned, I like Continuum but really disliked Defiance and Intelligence. Almost human was decent mainly because of the two lead actors but the story lines didn't really interest me all that much. I'll definitely check out the others that were mentioned.

True Detective and Breaking Bad are both great. There's no need to choose. Thumbs up

Nah lol, I did mean it. But everyone likes what they like. Should have added IMO before I guess

I never liked friends as much as others did. Maybe it's a generation thing. I enjoyed some episodes but HIMYM to me was much more close than friends was. I liked the characters better and the comedy itself.
