You're thinking about Rake?
Heard the American one was pretty bad, so might check out the Aussie one.

Would love a Theon Greyjoy spinoff sitcom though, 10/10 would watch. Tom and RG agree.

You're missing a lot of them
DC:
iZombie
Preacher
Marvel:
Powers
Agent Carter
Daredevil
Luke Cage
Iron Fist
AKA Jessica Jones
Defenders
Powers is not MCU.
Also they aren't all superhero shows. They're just comic book adaptations from different genres. There's spy shows, horror shows, sci fi, crime and so forth. Every show is different.

Powers and Preacher would be my best guess. And the Marvel Netflix shows could probably be good aswell.

Some kind of Heroes ripoff (or the other way around), which I hope is going to be much better than Heroes from season 2 onwards.
It's apparently about detectives solving murders involving people with superhuman abilities.

Re: The TV Series Thread - Part 3
Arrow is best atm out of them
AoS is crap
the rest aren't out yet
Daredevil, Jessica Jones, Iron Fist, and Luke Cage, leading up to a miniseries based on the Defenders. Al straight to Netflix
Agent Carter is a one off series on network Tv, so it's just like a back story for Cap A world
Flash, Constantine and Gotham have all looked good as far from trailers/pilot, Gotham will be more of crime drama, don't think there will be any super power things in it
iZombie is a pretty new comic book and has won a few awards and will be on shown on CW (WB's channel, which has Arrow and Flash) so don't expect much from them or do... they are a hit or miss
Preacher will be on AMC so expect it to be good, should be on par with BB and TWD, the producer for BB is running this

Flash pilot is fine, nothing great, but it sets the universe up fine.

Arrow was pretty poor in the beginning too, only got better in 2nd half and S2

Re: The TV Series Thread - Part 3
I see I'll try to watch the better ones. I stopped watching Arrow after season 2 episode 6 or so. It felt like a time filler and nothing more for me so I stopped. Not saying it's a bad show, it's decent but nothing special.

Yeah some episodes are filler. And no Dean and Sam presence to keep at a high level. CW needs to reduce episodes to 14 atleast.

Re: The TV Series Thread - Part 3
They are not fillers. It's just how the format works
They will only focus on the main story for about 60% of the time. Rest is episodic.
I didn't really think Arrow was poor or sub standard for any of Season 2. Unless I am forgetting some episodes? Pls go with 14 episodes. I don't wait for 6 months to see 14 episodes u pos.

Freeza
Dean and Sam probably saved Supernatural from getting canceled after season 5
I stopped watching Supernatural just this season (s9). Is season 10 going to be the last?

Not saying fillers. Just saying it was a boring show for me that felt I was watching because I was bored.

Re: The TV Series Thread - Part 3
Lol Dean and Sam are the reason Supernatural is even this good
Forget season 5, it would have never made it past season 1.
Still need to watch all of season 9. Not sure 10 will be last. At Comic Con they said that they can make it up to season 19 if they want. Neither of the actors have anything else to do anyways
Hope it runs for another few seasons at least.

Yea quite few said that as well. It's not easy to get people into superhero tv shows when it's on TV rather than movies.

Jared Padalecki said he'd want to about 2 more after season 10 on Zach Levi's show

I'd rather have 14 episodes. Imagine how good those episodes would be with another 8 episodes budget split on the 14 episodes. It'd make a huge increase in production value. I really dislike this format. AMC and HBO have way better formats, with 10, 12, 14, or 16. Even Hannibal's format is amazing. The less episode, the more production value.

Nice. I don't know how they can end it though.
Killing them both would be shit. Maybe they can find God in the last season.
Hope it's a satisfying closure.

They gave money to the audience members, when they made a dig at Mark Sheppard

Yeah I think finding God and somehow dealing with him should be the ultimate season because for the longest time (specially since the introduction of the angels) they've been mentioning his abandonment of heaven and humanity.

You missed Hourman.
Cant effin wait for Preacher. It can translate brilliantly to TV in good hands and Seth Rogen and AMC got some really great hands.
