What's better than 1 Scudetto winner in the squad?
2 Scudetto winners

Vucinic is a good option for a B+ striker.

Re: 2013/14 Winter Transfer Rumours Mk. III
Wouldn't be upset with a Vucinic snag at all.
Quintessentially best at an SS role or wide either side.
Possesses many traits:
-Ambidextrous
-Brilliant hold-up play and stays mobile while he does it.
-Excellent shots in accuracy (again, from both feet).
-Creative in the most tightest of spaces when played SS (but not wide).
-Makes some ridiculous through balls at times out of nowhere.
-Not prolific due to being an out-of-box CF/SS yet scores goals out of nothing. Though not a strong finisher.
-Lack of profligacy down to his lack of playing time as well. Yet makes up for it by being INSANELY CLUTCH, possibly his strongest feat. Most dangerous player during the most crucial times.
-Great technique
Imagine Zlatan at his first year of Milan or Berbatov at Manchester United, that describes Vucinic. His problem is his lack of pace at times and that his somewhat irritable attitude can either get the best or worst of him at times.
Would work with Giroud if he runs off the Montenegrin and would be a great option for Arsenal.

I won't mind Vucinic at all. I know he can be a good player and quite useful. But I am worried that he won't be able to get opportunities in the team when everyone is fit and we sign a top striker in the summer.
Would love a loan. But maybe a 2 year deal won't be bad.

Re: 2013/14 Winter Transfer Rumours Mk. III
In the CL he's great aswell usually. Obviously he's cup tied this season but if you get him. Next season he's worth a shot in the CL
Arq is right about him, that's an accurate description of Vucinic
He won't bang the goals in due to his style of play, but he's so damn clutch. He's also surprisingly very strong on the ball.

Re: 2013/14 Winter Transfer Rumours Mk. III
From what I have understood, in Roma and Juventus Vuc Vuc hasn't really complained often, if not at all during his bench roles-say unlike Quagliarella of Juventus.
Its strange considering he is angry most of the time yet I've never heard any scathing comments based on his lack of playing time.
Thus I'd expect him to undertake a role in Arsenal in which will either be him competing for the starter role, or an impact sub role to which he KNOWS he can change the dynamics of the game. Players like him do well to help youngsters in their transitions from talent to known quantity.

Re: 2013/14 Winter Transfer Rumours Mk. III
It's pretty well known in Roma circles that Vucinic would still be a Roma player if the fans hadn't stopped supporting him. That's what forced his move.
Beyond that, he was Montella's immediate successor as the club's best out-and-out striker, something he stopped being when he moved on. One of my favorite players to wear the shirt personally as well.
I think he could do very well with Arsenal. Would add a different dimension to their attack if he can play behind Giroud. They've been missing a player that can tuck in behind the #9 as neither Ozil, Rosicky or Cazorla are ideal for such a role.

Re: 2013/14 Winter Transfer Rumours Mk. III
Thiago Silva has stated he has no intention of leaving Paris-Saint Germain and intends on staying at the club until his contract expires in 2018.
The Brazil defender signed a new contract with the Ligue 1 champions last summer but there had been speculation during the transfer window that other top clubs could look to lure him away from Paris.
But the centre-back, who was on the scoresheet as his side thumped Nantes 5-0 on Sunday to maintain their five-point lead at the top of the division, told Canal+ he is committed to the club.
“Yes, I'm staying,” replied the 29-year-old when asked if he was going to remain in Paris.
“I feel very good here with the coach, the president. I think I'll stay here until the end of my contract.
"[Zlatan] Ibra is a great player, a big personality and I think he wants to stay too.
"PSG are one of the biggest clubs at the moment. It's up to us to continue like that. Perhaps we can also go all the way in the Champions League.

Re: 2013/14 Winter Transfer Rumours Mk. III
Laurent Blanc has confirmed that Paris Saint-Germain are pondering a swoop for Newcastle United midfielder Yohan Cabaye as they are looking to add some fresh blood to their squad.
The Ligue 1 champions have been linked with a number of central midfielders in the past few weeks - including Juventus' Paul Pogba and Miralem Pjanic of Roma - and Blanc has acknowledged that Cabaye is an option, too.
"Cabaye? He's a player I know well and who has the right attitude," Blanc told Canal Plus.
"Yohan is not the only player on our shortlist, though. We have other options. It would be good if we sign another midfielder.
"We are happy with the current squad, but we're competing on three fronts and anything can happen. Just look at Adrien Rabiot's injury.
"Having an extra midfielder who's capable of relieving some of the pressure on our current options would be a boost."
Cabaye, 28, has a contract with Newcastle until the summer of 2016.
Meanwhile, Lucas Moura has insisted that he has no intention of leaving Parc des Princes any time soon.
"I am focused on PSG. I have never thought about a transfer this winter."

Re: 2013/14 Winter Transfer Rumours Mk. III
According to Sky Sports, Mirko Vucinic could soon be an Inter player outright. Today in Milan there will be a meeting to define the dramatic exchange between the Montenegrin market and Fredy Guarin. The parties are finalizing the figures: the Nerazzurri would not want an equal exchange but would like a balance statement, because the Colombian budget is estimated at more than Vucinic. Marotta is expected to Milan to work out the details of this sensational market operation. Guarin was close to Juve three years ago. The Bianconeri could pass only one non-EU and between Caceres and he chose to take the Uruguayan defender. This operation will be defined today is the players will soon medical. Vucinic today will not be called since it has been advised by his agent.
LMAO
Dont know why we need another CM though.

Juve & Inter have agreed a straight swap between Vucinic & Guarin - no money involved (via GdS).
Straight swap ? I wont mind at all.We would be getting the better deal in the end.

Re: 2013/14 Winter Transfer Rumours Mk. III
Higuain level Vucinic swapped for Guarin? is this real life?
Re: 2013/14 Winter Transfer Rumours Mk. III
I think it would be good for Juve, Guarin would be more useful than Vucinic... Marchisio can rotate with Pirlo in that role since Pirlo is ageing an can't compete week by week with intensity and Guarin can rotate with Pogba/Vidal and when either are suspended Guarin can replace them .. Vucinic doesn't play a big role atm sincee Llorente and Tevez are established starters and Quags is a good sub who can change the game coming from the bench as he did in the past...

Re: 2013/14 Winter Transfer Rumours Mk. III
In the short term, this is an excellent move for Inter. Vucinic and Palacio are two highly intelligent forwards who should strike up a fantastic partnership, however to lose Guarin, one of the few players they can use to generate cash without greatly affecting the strength of the squad in a straight swap deal for an aging forward, no matter his quality, is at odds with Thorir's talk of rebuilding the squad to this point in my eyes. Still, I can see the appeal to both clubs should it go ahead.

Re: 2013/14 Winter Transfer Rumours Mk. III
I would've rather preferred another attacker in place of Vucinic instead of another midfielder.Business wise its a good deal for us considering its a straight swap and Vucinic is ageing.
Gotta bad feeling we could sell Pogba in the summer now.

And I hoped to not give Guarin to Chelsea...
And I glad when Chelsea bought Matic because this meant Guarin didn't go away..
...and instead he goes ... he goes.. he goes.. to Juventus
When it rains, it pours.
as if the losses were not enough to ruin my health
awful
