They already have Jean-Michel Blanc and Laurent Blanc handling the french market... they need a player director that has international reach and big club experience. Figo certainly has that.
Pauleta was a PSG player and does scouting for them internationally.
There aren't any former PSG players that have the CV for the job unfortunately other than Leonardo.
Remember that this is not a UK-style run club where the manager does a lot of the recruiting. The management style is very much Serie A/Bundi at PSG.

Meh, I know the attorneys that handled that deal, there is a reason you buy players like that early. The best way to get players from Bilbao is to tap them up a year before their contract ends and hope they don't sign an extension...
