Its very hard to think of a forward for Arsenal that is both additive to the side and also realistic to get, the more i think about it i can just come up with a name like Carlos Vela, and i don't think he wants to return to Arsenal.
The other option is a sensational swoop for someone like Remy, Kiessling, Rooney, Ramos or Ibisevic. Not sure thats going to happen since it could be circumstantial in january.

Re: Strikers better than Giroud
I am not Giroud biggest fan, but when Podolski started for us all I was thinking was where is Giroud? he was missed a lot. Giroud will have a better second half of the season.
Other than Suarez, Aguero and Rooney I don't think there better strikers than Giroud in EPL.
Making a thread to call him out is not right, I love his attitude his must believe in himself and put away all those chances.
Tonight is a great time to get the monkey off his back and get revenge for the first game of the season.

RVP is not playing and god knows when he will be back. I don't think Sturridge and Negredo are better I would say they are on all same level. You must understand that Giroud has played every game while others have help and get the rest they need.

Re: Strikers better than Giroud
Im no way calling him out or hating him.
I just feel that we badly need a striker and no later than this transfer window and there could be strikers available.
Unfortunately, some people dont agree with me and thats the reason why i opened this thread to tell you how pathetically wrong you are.

Doesn't change the fact that he is still better than Giroud.

Re: Strikers better than Giroud
Even before the Milan match he was still scoring every 94 minutes for a team who had never played in Serie A before this season. Berardichinomaster182 wrote:Firenze wrote:Berardi

Exactly. LOL people thinking Berardi is a one game wonder. He's been like this all season. I know its only serie b but he was sh*t-hot last year too.

I would rather have a healthy Giroud than a Injured payer who could be out for another 6-8 weeks on the top of 2 months he has been off.

Do you by any chance watch football matches while high on a cocktail of hallucinogenic drugs? That's the impression I get from your posts. Crouch? Eto'o? Young?

Re: Strikers better than Giroud
Suarez, Rooney, RVP, Kun, Negredo, Sturridge, Adebayor are all better. Put any of these strikers in this current Arsenal team with the midfield backing, and they'd all have at least 15 league goals so far this season.
Giroud is the tier below with likes of Remy, Lukaku etc.
Still a solid player.

I dont think any Arsenal fan would argue with that, YES we need a top striker or at least another quality player.

Re: Strikers better than Giroud
Giroud's a good striker, just not elite. Lewandowski, Falcao, Aguero, Suarez, Cavani, Martinez, Mandzukic, Diego Costa, Rooney, Benzema, Higuain, Negredo and Dzeko are all better. There's probably more.
In terms of who Arsenal could get in the summer, I'd say one of Dzeko, Benzema, Martinez, Mandzukic or Costa.
