Re: - Mozart | Andrea Pirlo
Pirlo is amazing. His vision and range of passing are out of this world!
He just tends to mess up though and lose possession in dangerous positions in our half. I think he needs to work on that before he costs us a goal or even worse 3 points..

Pirlo is Amazing and I have watched him all my life but I think Xavi has that little bit more in terms of dribbling and bursts forward! Everyone has their preferences of what a footballer should be...don't know why everyone getting their knickers in a twist...give your opinion and shut the fark up...dont gotta change another Brehs mind with bullshit! :shisha:

Re: - Mozart | Andrea Pirlo
Difficult to compare two greats who play in different teams, different leagues and playing in teams at different stages of football dominance.
I must say, if I had to pick either in top form, I would have to agree with CSS and go with Pirlo but thats just a gut call rather than based on any solid hard evidence/statistics.
CSS and Italianfool need to stop jiggling each others balls and just get on with the topic and a good healthy debate.
IT IS PERFECTLY OK TO AGREE TO DISAGREE WITHOUT BEING AN ASSHOLE ABOUT IT (...css...) - Take a hint from Inderbaby.

The perfect vice/replacement for pirlo
Nuri Sahin!!
This guy was voted Germany's best player, he's only 22, woud come at a price around 10-15mil, has kinda the same playing style of pirlo and real madrid will let him go with no trouble since he never plays.
What do you guys think of him?

I agree with Devi. Plus, I just don't see Mourinho and Real giving up one of their top young talents that cheaply. Sahin may not play much now, but Mourinho may have plans for him in the future. Mourinho is trying to build a team that will have long-term success, unlike the owners he had to work for at Chelsea and Inter that wanted results immediately.

Touché , as much as I would love that I just think sahin would be boom and is already at a really high level(BVB form). But still if Yours will be our midfield I will be really happy

Take it easy dude
First of all this is my opinion.
Second of all I just think that sahin is an awesome player who is ready to be pirlo's vice and replace him in the next 2/3 years. Bye the way do you even now who bouy is? Clearly not, as a dutch football fan I've watched games of him in the youth. He's an attacking midfielder, a classic number 10. Pirlo is more defensive. Plus I think the best would be if bouy would replace vucinic in a few years.

Honestly.. When it comes to a replacement of someone like Pirlo i think Sahin is YEARS ahead of Verratti or who else is next in line. And Appelt is a CDM not a playmaker while Bouy is a COM, playmaker yes, but more like Kaka was i his Milan days then Pirlo currently is in Juve. So.. Sahin? Well, id take him anytime!

Re: - Mozart | Andrea Pirlo
Some people here are talking as if they ever watch Sahin play. Its so funny and stupid.
Sahin is classy, and would be a perfect Pirlo replacement if available. He lead Dortmund to the Bundesliga tittle and played awesome football. He's also done good at international level with Turkey. At Madrid he's been injured and never really found playing time, but I'd trust him our midfield in a heartbeat.
These geniuses want kids(Bouy,Appelt and Veratti) more than Sahin replacing a soon to retire Pirlo lool.

Regardless of his level of play, I don't see Real and Mourinho letting him go for such a low price. Juve does need a back-up and future replacement for Pirlo, but improving our forward options and depth is far more important. Juve can't afford to spend 20 million or more on a CM position during this market. Our midfield is producing almost as many goals as our top forwards. We're having a great season, but that problem needs to be addressed first during the window. Veratti is a more realistic option for Juve.

What you say is true, but given that were gonna play in CL next season, we need a good Pirlo replacement. And when it comes to that I'd pay more to have Sahin than Veratti for free. The reasons are obvious. Besides, Real tends to sell players pretty cheap, and even though I doubt it, that could be the case with Sahin too.
When it comes to wishes, the guy is miles ahead of Verratti who hasn't played a single game in top level yet, and we're gonna need a such player to play game in and out next season because of CL.

Re: - Mozart | Andrea Pirlo
we could always loan sahin.....at first.
madrid would do this as they don't lose him..and he gets playing time, alternating with pirlo...as we will have many games next year.
and maybe afterwards...we keep him.

Andrea Pirlo is simply...
The BEST player in the world. He has led Italia to the semi-finals almost single-handedly. He is playing BETTER than in 2006 WC in my opinion. And he was awesome in 2006.
Forget Messi, Ronaldo, Ibra. And don't even mention Xaxi please. As of RIGHT NOW, Pirlo is simply the best player in the world. I truly hope he leads Italia to European glory.
Marotta's greatest signing EVER!!! And he was free to boot!! And to think Allegri chose Ambrosini over him!! Why does Allegri still have a job? He should be coaching a mid level team like Del Neri really.
Andrea Pirlo, I bow to you now and forever!!! Forza Andrea Pirlo!!!

I'm sorry I don't mean to rain on your parade, but how did he "lead" Italy to victory against the English? The match went to penalties. Yes, he was fantastic, but for all his great work there was not one goal. I'm not saying this to detract from his performance, but only to say that he didn't lead anyone to victory.

It's not his job to score goals.
He dictated the pace of this game, he controlled it.
Italy's best player tonight, by quite a margin, and Italy was victorious- I'd say that is leading a team to victory

f...k allegri... my apologies mods ... but i cant bear this pain.... how we let such a genius go is beyond belief; most certainly stupid and arrogant of allegri.
hell ... he hasnt learnt anything of this, and yet still is piling up DMs in our squad for next year... bar montolivo...

To be fair, Juventus' Pirlo is a revitalized player. He really needed a change of scenery and a new challenge.
