Either way, makes no difference, there will be 3 groups of death at least.

Italy will be hoping Friday’s World Cup draw doesn’t resemble the rehearsal, or they’d face Brazil, France and Australia.

The 2014 World Cup effectively begins on Friday with the draw for the tournament in Costa de Sauipe at 16.00 GMT.

Journalists at the rehearsal this evening confirmed ex-Roma and Milan star Marcos Cafu will draw the seeded teams, while Zinedine Zidane picks the African and two South American sides.

The simulation provided an extraordinary Group of Death, as Group A had Brazil, France, Australia and Italy.

The opening game of the tournament would be Brazil-France.

Group B was Uruguay, Nigeria, USA and Croatia.

Group C had Argentina, Ghana, Costa Rica and Fabio Capello’s Russia.

Group D in the rehearsal was Switzerland, Chile, Alberto Zaccheroni’s Japan and Greece.

Group E was Spain, Ivory Coast, South Korea and England.

Group F is Colombia, Cameroon, Honduras and Holland.

Group G had Germany, Ecuador, Iran and Portugal.

Group H provided Belgium, Algeria, Mexico and Bosnia.

If that happens again the draw is clearly rigged

Can't imagine the odds of what the CL draw repeating was, let alone with both draws.

I wouldnt worry about it if France was the only tough team in the group, but France + Italy or Netherlands or Portugal and it could get ugly

Oh please no Group D and H are terribly weak, hope it doesn't happen like that, I would hate for all those scrubs to get easy run ins while better teams get knocked out early.

Obviously there is a lot of talk about Groups of Death and all the possibilities. But I would also be worried about the pairings of adjacent groups for knockout purposes (since winner of Group A will face runners up of Group B, etc).
