How is this fella still allowed to derail pretty much EVERY thread he posts in and troll members? How has he not been banned yet? Quite appalling.

You're so stupid it's unreal.
You can support whoever the fck you want. It doesn't matter how successful they are or whatever. Supporting your 'local team' doesn't make you better than anybody round here, you need get educated on that fact.
Cowardice and insecurity? Are you fcking dumb?
The ignorance you're spewing is so fcking pathetic.
I wish someone like DEVIANGEL would see this and post on this thread, to educate the idiots like you.

If that is your attitude (which I respect), then I think we can all agree that you're on the wrong forum. Most people do not support the football clubs nearest to their homes. Thus, it's better you go elsewhere where people talk about your local team, instead of wasting your time with "fake" supporters.The_Badger wrote:There's nothing ignorant or stupid about it. Even the genuine fans hate the plastics and glory hunters like you.
Look, this has nothing to do with the topic so wind your neck in and debate about the Ballon D'Or rather than other people.
What makes you stupid and beyond ignorant is the fact that you can't comprehend how global the sport Football is and how far out it reaches. We have plenty of people on this site who have may have never had a local team to follow and support and the first teams they really got to see play were the most famous ones because they were the most televised, so naturally they would want to continue watching that particular team and player.
What your little brain also doesn't take into account is the power of our elders and their knowledge of the game. Their have been many people on this site who have said their, Dad, brother, uncle, grandparent etc have told them stories of the great sides of the past like Milan, Madrid, Bayern, Juve, Barca, Pool, United etc and that is the reason why they follow them and have influenced the younger generation to also follow suit.
But an idiot like you can't comprehend that.

Straight up ignorant.The_Badger wrote:There's nothing ignorant about not respecting your position to support a club you have no connection with. You're just upset because you overvalue your importance.
Now, who do you think will win the Ballon D'Or?
Who said the people here don't have a connection to the club because they don't live in the area?
So ignorant.
Ignorance like that, is not welcome here.
Also, love the fact you're trying to 'get back on topic' when you're the one who was calling people plastic fans.

Look, I've deleted my comments because they are off-topic. If you want to continue with the childish personal abuse because it makes you feel like a big man then fine; that's a risk you take.
Let's drop it and talk about the subject, eh?

If Ronaldo does win it, would he actually be the best player in the World? I mean he'd win it because Messi's injured. However when both are fit, Messi's clearly the better player.

Messi is more agile and fit to possession style play, I assume ?Yohan Modric wrote:If Ronaldo does win it, would he actually be the best player in the World? I mean he'd win it because Messi's injured. However when both are fit, Messi's clearly the better player.

Balon d or is a joke.
Your personality or image should not matter, and nor should hypothetical questions such as .."who's better when fit".
Balon d or should be given to most outstanding performing player of the year but since CR7 is the greatest unintentional troll of our time, he will be robbed of this now meaningless award most likely.

I personally do not like the fact that the more defensive players are often overlooked in every major award, not just this. The Basque CM wrote:Balon d or is a joke.

Yeh and I'm not discrediting Ronaldo or anything, because he's had an impressive start to the season. However where would Messi be ranked when he's active again alongside Ronaldo/Ribery, if he gets back to his previous form?

Re: OFFICIAL: FIFA Ballon d'or 2013 - Voting extended
Messi is the best player out of the three, you want an indication of where he would be? Watch his previous performances that won him the balon d or.
@ Chelsea Fuerte, i agree, the problems with this award are quite numerous and why i think there should be a balon d or for defenders, etc, guess thats why the fifa x1 exists but thats even more of a joke.

Re: OFFICIAL: FIFA Ballon d'or 2013 - Voting extended
We can only guess, but if we are going by his form before he got injured, he would be the favorite after Ribery. Alot of people seems to forget that Messi started the season pretty strong,he was even the topscorer in the league with his 8 goals. To make a comparision and show good Messi started, C.Ronaldo had only scored 3 goals..Yohan Modric wrote:Yeh and I'm not discrediting Ronaldo or anything, because he's had an impressive start to the season.
