Spurs are a more attractive destination footballing wise than Roma IMO, he's certainly not taking a step down.

Rumors has it that its Roma pushing for the sales here, but I dont know. I am really curious of what this new french coach has in mind.

More importantly, does Roma have a clear vision on who can possibly replace Lamela? I mean, it sure as hell ain't gonna be Gervinho..right?

Ofcourse its a step up..

But it really is laughable to see how Serie A are losing GOAT talents to random clubs..This is more of a dig on Italian football not on Spurs.

Mostly its just portraying the new owners who was suppose to be wealthy and promised a bright future etc. If this season is gonna be a lot worse than last there is gonna be demonstrations thats for sure!

Also, Bale must be 100% gone considering Bale's supposedly going for 90+ Million but with Willian they will have maxed out Bales fee. Nevermind the price of Lamela.

Surely they can bump it to atleast 3m from his initial salary of 1.5m especially considering they pay De Rossi 6.5m a year.Its not like Lamela is being a contract rebel here really.

Thauvin + Ba (guessing) to replace Lamela + Osvaldo, while making a profit of about 20 mil i'd assume is really not a bad deal.

That attack is not going to get them far in Serie A.

At least when our attack sucked, we had Pirlo, Vidal and even Marchisio to carry us.

0 stability, they'll almost never get into the CL at this rate. And when they do it'd be a miracle if they do anything in it.

When you bring in a new manager that has such a special style like Rudi Garcia = rebuilding in any case.  He needs midfielders more than anything.  The key to his system is that area.  

If i were guessing, they are putting funds together to really get quality players in that area over the next 12 months.  

Remember that his style is heavily possession-based and it's doomed to fail unless the midfield is dominant. He needs very technical players here, not workhorses.

So spuds have snapped up Willian & Lamela in under two weeks time meanwhile strong-arming the negotiations in the sale of Bale for what will be the record transfer fee, and will get a pretty good LB coming the other way in Coentrao
