It would appear that Landon Donovan may be headed abroad in at the end of the MLS season. I don't think he's particularly happy with the way MLS handled Dempsey's arrival and the massive difference between his and Dempsey's wages. If LA want to keep him they'll need to close that gap.

I would agree if Moyes was still there I would say 100% but not so certain now with Martinez there.

American revolution going on at Stoke makes me wonder if they still plucking from the MLS

Everton could still use more creativity and Donovan would fit well into Martinez's system... he will also be free which puts him right up Everton's alley. Given that he is quite fond of the club from his previous loan stints there I think he'd contact the m before making a move to England to see if they're interested, and I doubt they'd say no.

Stoke, on the other hand, are going to have a rough season. By the time Donovan's MLS season is over they could already be well in the mire and he's not going to go there to play as a winger or wide midfielder. I don't think they'll sign him.

He could still stay in MLS though, as LA may push the boat out to keep him.

You're not counting the other striker(s) that Stoke are signing/set to sign and assuming Hughes will actually change the formation for Donovan... which is unlikely.

highly doubt we even have Eto's agents number tbh...we have 4 strikers already and would not pay Eto his wages to be a sub
