Die Welt also reports Gustavo to Wolfsburg. Bundesliga FTW!

Not sure why Gustavo would choose Wolfsburg over Arsenal. There's plenty of better clubs he could join. Also it's not like Wolfsburg is in Munich, which would have meant he wouldn't have to move home.

Spurs and Roma had a meeting for Osvaldo and Lamela, according to Gazzetta dello Sport. Apparently also for Pjanic.
Southampton are in talks over Osvaldo.

Re: Summer Transfer Rumours Mk. X
He is not failing per se, not in my book anyway. Okay, there haven't been trophies, but league finish wise they've been doing fine, especially when you consider that their record transfer fee paid is under £15m while their competitors have been offering the moon. And I for one applaud Wenger for not paying unfair transfer fees. Like, £34m for Higuain, that's simply too much. Arsene Wenger is a little glimmer of common sense among managers of top level clubs nowadays, doing things the right way, sticking to his principles and putting long-term stability before short-term success.Arsenalfaithfull wrote:So many people in the forum that get the pleasure out of seeing Arsene fail

Lol fair play to the banter because it is a comical situation... not going to lie. Btw that 4th place trophy is on lock. I am not even worried.jibers wrote:Bet you not as much as Wenger wants Arsenal to failArsenalfaithfull wrote:So many people in the forum that get the pleasure out of seeing Arsene fail

Arsene Wenger purposely destabilizing Arsenal to make everyone realize that people were wrong to question his authority right? Thats ingenious imo.

Gil, acting like he knew about Bakkali before his hattrick Not once in the 5/6 years I've seen you on all these goal.com/goallegacy forums have you once mentioned anything about Bakkali and now all of a sudden after his hattrick you are the master of knowledge on this kid and have watched him since his mom gave birth to him. Yeah okGil wrote:Just because you were ignorant of his talent doesn't mean the rest of us are.McAgger wrote:Great scouting my a$$. Re: Summer Transfer Rumours Mk. X
Gustavo is a great DM,i rate him highly. But some comments have been very exaggerrated like he'd walk into any team bar 4-5 teams and so on.
And we should stop slating players' decisions just because he dint join these shiny popular EPL sides.I think atleast its clear its not a money based decision and with a team like Wolfsburg he can aim for CL football considering they're frequent spenders in the market plus obviously he'll be a regular fixture with Brazil as well now with proper playing time.

I just dont see the point of this. Both want to stay and are young. Are Tottenham that rich even after keeping Bale?Yohan Modric wrote:Spurs and Roma had a meeting for Osvaldo and Lamela, according to Gazzetta dello Sport. Apparently also for Pjanic.

Well, the difference this season is that Wolfsburg finally have a good sport director, and their current coach isn't exactly bad either.djfawnz wrote:if i was an arsenal fan i wouldnt mind if he went to Wolfsburg, he isnt really that good and Wolfsburg have been a trainweck since 2009, buying bad players over and over and over.....

Re: Summer Transfer Rumours Mk. X
Nah we just make fun of Spurs because untill now they have overspend on players only to make the champions league once in the last 20 some years But unfortunately that trend is changing. Gota give props where its due.CBarca wrote:Don't Arsenal fans usually make fun of Spurs for getting rejected and not being able to convince players to join?
People act like a stronger Tottenham team is only going to affect Arsenal... when in reality even teams like Chelsea and City are not necessarily guaranteed their spot in the top 4 anymore.
Spurs were 2 wins away from finishing 2nd ....
