Won everything? Did you see Barça? They have won as many CLs as Madrid between 2006 and 2014 and have been winning the league almost every year, and yet their abundant success doesn't seem like it's affecting their motivation. Why's that?

The reality is, Madrid sucks because the players they are fielding are either not good enough or way past it, and (mainly) their president is being cheap and doesn't want to spend on quality signings.

That's the sad truth. Won everything my ass, we're getting our asses handed to us weekly, but it's ok because we've won three CLs in a row and 2 league titles in the last decade.

the team are poor because the powers that be let 80% of the squad get old at the same time but talking about bale alone it looks like the guy has fulfilled his dreams and now is happy to play golf with his mates.

Not exactly what Bale needs to "motivate" himself to kick a ball adequately but he can find that spark elsewhere. Like back in England where he'll be loved unconditionally (until he does the shit he is doing at Madrid).

I have no expectations from Bale anymore.  Same with Isco and Asensio lol.  So it's hard for me to get mad at any of them when I don't expect anything in the first place.

I am salty at our midfield trio, especially Kroos.  I'm disappointed with Carvajal.  I also wasn't happy with Benz (shame on me for finally expecting something of him).

Best player were Courtois and Reguillon.  Ramos and Varane were decent as well.

Really not thrilled with watching games these days.

Bale is terrible.

You can tell he is a left back come striker.

Should never start.

Don't compare Bale to Isco. Isco is miles better. his problem is the moron named Solari who doesn't let him play.

Bale on the other hand can fuck off to some English team stupid enough to pay for him. or China.

Marca is reporting that Bale after his substitution against barca, didn't wait on the bench.

He went home, before the game was finished.

What an idiot. Should never start for Madrid again. and he should be disciplined.

This isn't his first time. He did it against Alaves (?) too. The dude is bad for the dressing room morale. Get him the hell out of this team

@halamadrid2

https://www.managingmadrid.com/2019/3/11/18259223/bale-and-the-bernabeu

Eduardo Alvarez wrote:But in terms of Bale, the problem wasn’t the golf, or the fact that he does not speak Spanish, or the gossip about him not getting along with other players . All those things capture the imagination of the foreign media, but the reasons behind the Bernabeu’s boos are much simpler. Bale did cross a red line a few weeks ago with his bizarre gesture after scoring against Atletico de Madrid – hard to understand what he meant, but in no way that was something that would endear him to the fans – but especially with his refusal to embrace Lucas Vazquez after his penalty in Levante.

Again, I have not heard a single socio speak about Bale’s devotion for golf or his (non-existent) Spanish, but I’ve heard a lot of anger about those two gestures. They’re interpreted as a break-up with the team, even if Bale tried to soften the issue with an Instagram pic showing him and Vazquez celebrating afterwards. Bale’s low profile does not help either: a statement to the press, rather than an Instagram post – an app most socios haven’t heard of—, would have taken plenty of the noise off the Welshman’s shoulders.

Swear, I think more Madridistas should read this fine article about how the Bernabeu really works.

Marca reporting only Man U, Spurs, Bayern, PSG and Juve are possibilities given transfer price and demanded salary! But all of this hinches on the availability of spot and desire of said clubs plus the belief that he is a top winger! Plus not stated he would rather golf and collect his pay cheque.

That picture with the "Wales golf madrid, in that order " tag line was a bit disrespectful. He has the right to do what he wants but we also have the right to keep him on the bench until his contract expires. I don't think Zidane will have that approach though, he will use Bale when he is fits

Apparently some players on the team found it funny. Terribly dumb on his part but its probably one of those jokes that you do and realize immediately how much trouble you're going to be in
