Re: UEFA Financial Fair Play
To draw the line...
FFP was introduced to level the playing field, yet it created the biggest financial disparity I've seen as a football fan.
FFP out?

Re: UEFA Financial Fair Play
I don’t think it should be withdrawn, as it’s more easily the result of successful legal challenges.
I think the actual rules need to redone, with a view of complete FFS in mind, i.e. including salaries plus they need to help the smaller clubs. Such rules need a lot of examination for practically, legal applicability and will they do what the objectives are. And first thing is clearly articulate what these objectives are.
But expecting current UEFA leadership, Ceferin and PSG president (Lol, head of FFS committee) to do this is fool’s dream. Ceferin is trying to change rule he implemented to prevent further terms of Platini, just so he can run again!

Re: UEFA Financial Fair Play
lol and why should they "help" smaller clubs? what have smaller clubs for football of late that FFP should be so concerned? and why were we not talking about helping smaller clubs decades ago? The people who's concern it should be to help smaller clubs are the people who run the individual leagues. If you want to make your league better and market it better then its up to the football federation of that country to get off its ass and think of ideas....it could mean tv rights redistribution or making deals with other sports companies.
I know its cool to bash Tebas, but he played a huge role in putting together the ESPN La liga deal together. Like him or not he deserves some credit for that especially coming off the back of the two golden geese in CR and messi out of the league (i think the messi exit caught espn by surprise though).
UEFA will always treat those that bring in the money right. And there's nothing wrong with that. Real Madrid City Liverpool et al are bringing in viewers, why the hell do i care about Maccabi Haifa. Even if Maccabi Haifa gets a level playing ground and an extra 30 million, they're not signing nobody important, and stars don't even want to play there.
Wenger championed for FFP and would still have been one of the stingiest spenders out of the top flight clubs if his vision was met.
