While CDS and Sky Sport disagree on the price tag (CDS saying 35m euros, Sky saying 37M+3 bonuses) the general summary is the same, Napoli have met Real Madrid's valuation, fee has been agreed between the two clubs BUT personal demands of Higuain have not been met. Both CDS and Sky reports that it's not the wages that's causing the problem. In Real Madrid, there is a 50% share of rights which Higgy wants at Napoli too but Napoli are having none of it. So yeah Gooners, a glimmer of hope.

If Higuain joins the fray with Gomez, Llorente, and Tevez, along with the likes of Di Natale, Balotelli, Klose and Argentina's most underrated and arguably best forward Maxi Lopez. Its gonna be hard to predict who's going to be top scorer next year

Klose won't win lol. Di Natale is always a threat. Llorente is Juve's main contender, Tevez will have more of a support role. If Balotelli carries his form and ES rediscovers his goalscoring touch then Milan has the potential to wreak havoc on defences. I expect Balo to score more with ES being SS. All in all I think Gilardino got this.

Klose is a goal machine, don't count him out

He'll score no more than 15. If Damiao comes he'll be a dark horse.

Giu Rossi will score a good number as well.

No one knows, he's been injured for all that time.

Injury problems have plateaued his development. But I'm hoping he still got it. It's not like he's old or anything, just needs regular games to maybe slowly work back to the level he was before the injuries. But like Red said no one really knows just yet.

Nacer is technically gifted and can play on both sides, but he predominantly plays left/center of the pitch.

Just what we need another player for the left/center of the pitch

Admittedly though, he is a good finisher for a wing player and could realistically play striker for us if we don't make anything happen come deadline day.

Admittedly, this is more close to reality than Spurs using him as a striker.

The only way we would use him as a striker is if we didn't use a target forward and attempted more of a fast break linking style CAM/striker which kind of works with what we are trying to do anyways. Imagine how we repeatedly scored on Arsenal in the second fixture, but faster and with more options.

If he said nobody "should" bid over 30m, he wouldnt of been exactly wrong tbh. Just wording.

I said them wanting over 30M is asking for too much, and the clubs who wanted Higuain didn't want to pay anywhere near that much
