Why do Arsenal want Higuain if he can't perform in Europe?

They have to be paying for potential there and hoping he lives up to it because there is no way in hell he's worth 32m at the moment.

Meanwhile, Valencia are demanding €29 mil or nothing for Soldado

We did match the asking price of 27m. But Madrid decided to increase it by 3m more. I know 3m is nothing in today's game and we can very well pay it if we badly want Higuain but i don't understand why there was a need to do this.

If that is the case then I understand your frustration. Still Arsenal should look past it and just agree to it. Getting Higuain for any price is a win situation no matter what.

Yea, we paid 3m for Park chu Young and 50 other scrubs over the last 20 years. I personally hope we don't back away from this now.

I know they are paying that for his potential but i was speaking from Roma's point of view.

Thats a lot of money for a central defender and they can use that money to reinforce other areas.Perhaps even fix their entire back 4 with that kind of money.And the already have Benatia coming in anyways.(for 7-8m)

AC Milan are reportedly interested in Paris St-Germain forward Ezequiel Lavezzi to replace Santos bound striker Robinho.

The former Napoli man signed for the French club in the summer of 2012, but Tuttosport report that PSG’s potential signing of Edinson Cavani could push the Argentinian back to Italy.

The Rossoneri have also been linked to Fiorentina forward Adem Ljajic, but could turn to Lavezzi if the Viola starlet signs a contract extension.

Milan would look to acquire Lavezzi from PSG through a loan deal with the option to buy at the end of the season.

PSG are buying these players from Serie A way well over their worth.(Maybe even twice their actual worth).Leonardo is indeed financing Serie A.

I read that if all their pending deals are completed PSG would've spent about 240m euros on Serie A players alone

Leo is only destroying Serie A if the clubs don't take the money and use it wisely.


Find a 20M Cavani replacement (Won't be as good obviously) then strengthen the rest of the squad and before you know it Napoli are better off overall.

Personally, i'd persist with Ljajic until we can get him, Lavezzi is a fine player but i'd rather we invest in Ljajic since he's very cheap and also very young

and about Higuain. I think Perez wants to show clubs that you can't push us around with the prices like some sale. Perez wanted 30mill at the start when higgy wanted to leave and I doubt he will budge from it the same way he won't budge with cacktrao for the 20mill he has valued him at. We are happy to keep both if we can't find a buyer since Adan, Jesus and Callejon will be leaving. leaving us with exact 25 players (with Illaramendi)

when we want to buy players they come up with a ludicrous price but when they want one of our stars they want them on a discount??? it doesn't work like that

Just look at Ibra's sale to Barca for example.

Inter got Eto'o for free,bought Sneijder,Motta and Milito with that money and the rest is history.

If Napoli can do such smart business,they'll do just fine.

A) Clueless in the market

B) Spend all of it on a replacement + some money for the club, and expect to be the same.

Why would you compare the two?

Marquinhos is quicker and stronger than Chygrinskiy..... he is actually proven in a top league.

He's well regarded as one of the best CBs in his age group behind Varane.

As for Silva.... two things Silva is 29 and will have to replaced again in 4 years most likely like Puyol is now and Marquinhos is 19 if he's a success he could be Barca's CB for 15 years.

Plus who says 37m would be enough for Silva?

Silva is not for sale at any price according to PSG pres yday. SIlva also came out and said he's happy to stay at PSG... move on peeps. dead end here.

I haven't watched Roma at all last season so excuse my ignorance but 32mill for a guy that wasn't voted the best defender in Serie A but is young and good. Simon Kjaer all over again

I assumed silva cost 37 because thats what barca bid for him and he isn't going to cost as much as psg bought him for

They are overpaying without a doubt but he has the potential to go very very far.

Obviously potential isn't everything and he's a long way from fulfilling at the moment as he's only 19 but the raw tools are there.

I'll let Mclewis go into more detail when he comes on lol.

Thiago $ilva aint going any where lol...He is getting payed 10 + mill and pretty sure Barca will not offer him that kind of money when players like Iniesta and Neymar earn way less. Unless he is willing to take a paycut let alone PSG agree a deal..this deal isnt happening.
