I know Surag. But Ljajic has nothing to do with my post. If they lose Jovetic, and Rossi's return from injury is his replacement then it's really not an improvement. Ljajic was already in the team so I don't know what you mean by bringing him up.

I mean to say losing Jovetic wouldnt matter much for them with Ljajic in great form and with Gomez's signing on the cards.

Gomez would be a monstrous upgrade for them.A prolific goalscorer is what they lacked last season and with Ljajic and Rossi playing behind them plus the creativity from the likes of Borja and Aquilani to go along with it,he'll score a lot of goals there.

And on Napoli's note: They're making some fine signings and linked with very able players, though it depends with the quality of replacements for their team. With Cavani, Campagnaro and Zuniga heading out, they're going to need some quality players. But as Mole said 63 mil is enough to cover them alone if used properly

I think Napoli will be in transition for 1 year.

Focusing on finding a suitable Cavani replacement is hard enough. But they almost certainly won't find a Cavani upgrade. So they need to find better replacements for other players in the starting XI to improve overall.

So where is cavani going? His agent was meeting with Leonardo today... but that doesn't mean much. PSG have offered to pay the 63 mil though and they would be the only one.

Sky sources understand that Paris St Germain have lodged a £43million bid for Napoli striker Edinson Cavani. Manchester City and Chelsea have been heavily linked with the Uruguay international.

Roughly €50m ,which falls short of their valuation.

Ibra is a CF though... you actually design your defense without that position in mind. A winger on the other hand has responsibilities that are important on defense.

Because CF closing down the CBs and not allowing too much time on the ball is a given,,,every CF does this except Ibra who is a disgrace defensively.

Beat me to it, but Earnie Stewart is way to vested in the USMNT to let a transfer like that happen. He'll move this Summer, but it'll be to a club that will continue Altidore's growth at a good fee for AZ. While I would like Jozy to get settled, I think their best bet is to wait until early August to make the move when some of the better clubs will start to get desperate.
