good buy and the fee makes sense. Why? Tevez hasn't been on consistent form for 2 years and he has no resale value given his age. There's also a risk that his skills drop given his age.

So £10 mil makes a whole lot of sense for everyone.

City lost £10 mil in one year because they were stubborn last summer...

Frankly, i have to agree with Mole. I really am not a fan of Tevez. He's a player that needs external motivation at this point in his career, and that's not what you want. At his peak he was a world-beater. But I'm not sure that even a change of scenery is enough to rejuvenate him. A player that dearly misses his beloved home country and bugged his club to allow him to return...

The current crop of Juve forwards are competent enough with Llorente coming in (bar maybe Giovinco)

would be happy with Jovetic and Higuain if we can still nick them but we Juve fans can't complain about Tevez, looking at what Marotta has put us through these last couple of years....

But look at it from Juve's perspective.... i think he has one great year in him potentially. So even if he sucks after that and they get no resale, it gets them into CL contention. To me, that's worth it right there.

In a perfect world, you'd want Juve to drop 30+ mil and get Higuain or Jovetic because that value projects over several years. But if that's not an option, getting someone like Tevez is not bad at all.

He's defo better than Vuc,no doubt about it.
Tevez-Llorente is a billion times better than what we've had in the last few seasons.Juve will win Serie A easily again.

Not necessarily the "cheap" option but the most cost-effective one by a long shot.
Last year of his contract, Llorente on a free.
Last year, Vidal on the last year of his contract, Pirlo on a free.
Shrewd, shrewd pieces of business on Juventus' behalf.

We'll see Tevez's attitude when (IF) he arrives at the club, I'll be surprised to see him act negatively, even if it's part of his history. Arriving at a new club, new country, a new tradition... I just think it will work out for both parties if it does happen, I'm hopeful of this anyways.

Also don't agree on being better than Vucinic.... better finisher yes but not better in general play and creating chances for others.

The thing is though that Monaco are looking hard at Jovetic now, which is probably why Juve got aggressive with Tevez... and they were right to. Hulk asking price is too much and James Rodriguez can play on the right with Jovetic playing behind Falcao.

Tevez-Llorente is far better than what e have Mole, should guess the agony we Juve fans go through at the hands of Vucinic and Matri....

hopefully we get Jovetic too..

I won't be shocked if Tevez signing is Marotta's way o getting Higuain to tell Madrid "hey I wanna join Juve so accept the fkn 22m and cal it a deal" :p

Barca boss Tito Vilanova reportedly felt he would need a striker in the second half of last season and blocked the 31-year-old’s departure.

The source also claims the Gunners had already agreed terms with Villa, before Vilanova vetoed the move.
