RG I've not read any legit spoilers but from all the trailers I'm still convinced those leaks from ages ago are legit, just makes too much sense

and I've actually read from a few people that the main villain is not memorable at all..most ppl saying the story is borderline non existent until last 1/3 and plays out in the background while you're on a bro trip which is why watching kingsglaive is essential

will be hard to be my GOTY with UC4 but I think it'll be on par with DS3, just get the feeling that I'll enjoy it a lot from trailers and the setting

Go into the game with no judgement though. No point playing it while already deciding it's going to be poor. I know you won't do that but just saying.

As long as this game has a great world to explore and cool boss fights, I'll be happy with it. It's literally been 15 years since the last great FF game so just hoping this is at least memorable.

One thing which everyone agrees on is that the 4 characters are all amazing and you really get invested in them.

It's almost like different people have different opinions.

Happens every time pre-release on the internet tbh, go back and read any posts from any big title in recent memory and you'll see the same thing.

You won't see a solid view of genuine consistent viewpoints until after release.

I guess most of the ppl getting it early/last week who were smashing it would almost certainly be die hard fans who have had their expectations built up over years

I'm going in with realistic expectations and won't be comparing it to past FF titles

never played any of the demo's even though I downloaded some

heard the starting area is ridiculously easy on purpose but that dungeons and hunts are challenging

so basically press x to win at the start but that won't fly later

7GB patch day 1 smh, will probably have tons of ppl dling it so it'll go slow

might watch brotherhood anime tomorrow, apparently only an hr long, ppl saying it's worth watching too for the character back story

seen a few comments about game breaking bugs, will probably all be ironed out eventually but people saying make sure you use multiple saves, some are losing 10 hrs progress lol.

shouldn't be an issue for me, had about 350 saves for Fallout 4

Read few more non-spoiler thoughts and more people are saying that the story unfolds the same way as it did in FF9.

Which basically was that you spend 3/4 of the game without A LOT of the story and just exploring and building up characters and visiting places but the story in the final 1/4 unfolds thick and fast.
