Re: Summer Transfer Rumours Mk.IV
I don't like this page of Rumours much, Thiago to united, Cavani to Madrid, Isco to City.
But Papa is staying at Schalke

Is Thiago actually likely to leave? Or is he more pushing for more playing time next season and maybe an improved contract?

We have not heard anything from Thiago so it's all just speculation about know.
Even if clubs do activate his release clause, he still has to accept. I honestly don't see why he would leave Barca, I wouldn't if I was him.

Re: Summer Transfer Rumours Mk.IV
Meh, neither Isco nor Thiago are once in a generation players. It's not like they're signing Zidane, Messi or Ronaldinho.
Neymar, Gotze, Balotelli, Bale and Hazard are the cream of the next generation. We've got one, another plays for Spuds and the remaining aren't in our League.
We'll cope.

Re: Summer Transfer Rumours Mk.IV
Isco is basically a right-footed Mata. Great signing for City. He'll shine with the spot light on the likes of Aguero, Silva etc.
Thiago, well I don't know. I wonder how Moyes will play him. He's never actually managed a 'technical' player before Mirallas. He'll have to improve his own game if he goes to United. lol

Just an example as to what the market has become these days.
Its like you survive(pay up) or perish.
Would you rather spend 20m on a player with 30-40k wages a week or 15m on a player with 60-80k a week?

Well whatever it is,its a pretty high fee for a relative unknown. He's a good player, watched him against Juve in the CL,looked dangerous ,but i dont think he warrants that kind of fee.But this was a circumstance where you had to pay up which you're doing it in the end.
Still,it can be looked as an investment though as he's very young and would represent a decent resale value incase he flops.

Stay Thiago.
I don't know if Graham Hunter is reliable, but he doesn't know shit about football. He said Dongou was the best U-16 player he had ever seen, even better than Messi.

Why would they sell Isco so cheap?
Navas went for the same price, and they bought that Fernandinho for 40 milion ffs.

Malaga has already said that they won't sell Isco for less than his marketprice, which is 35mil euro.
So doubt they sold him for 25m. Fake

Re: Summer Transfer Rumours Mk.IV
AS are saying that Madrid are meeting with representatives of Isco today and may close the deal today... And they sound confident about it.
So who knows But i don't think it'll be done for less than €35 mil (cash or cash+players) since the Malaga president made that abundantly clear on Tuesday.
We'll find out soon.

Funny how Madrid fans usually treat el confidential as gospel but as soon as they say something they don't want to hear its BS lol
He's off to City accept it.

Only Nick does hala, Crimson and others have been bashing EC since the Nerman saga.
I'm not saying they're not reliable... Just saying none is 100% reliable. EC can be wrong, which I think they are in this one. Besides, I'm still correct about the price. Doubt he will go for 25mil when others are offering 35m.

I've asked the same question once and the response I got was that 'they have the experience ti distinguish which news is BS and which one is real," sometimes even within the same newspaper - AS being the prime example...
Make of it what you want, I personally hate the off-season and think this is the worst thread in this section by some distance.
With that said, I still wouldn't mind having him on our team, though, but sure as hell wont celebrate until its official.
