Summer Transfer Rumours Mk.IV - Page 37 Empty Re: Summer Transfer Rumours Mk.IV

Alvaro Negredo's potential move to Atletico Madrid is gathering pace, according to reports in the Spanish Press.

The Andalusian side's President Jose Maria del Nido claimed on Friday that “the possibility [of Negredo joining Atleti] is very far away”. But Marca insist that a deal could be completed within the next few weeks.

The Madrid-based paper believe that Diego Simeone's men will try to convince the player to join the capital club over the next few days, before putting forward a bid to the Rojiblancos.

It is thought the Del Nido would not want to sell to another Liga club, but the club's precarious financial situation means the Ramon Sanchez Pizjuan team don't really have that luxury.

Barcelona scouts are in Brazil to closely monitor the performances of David Luiz and Thiago Silva, media reports have claimed.

Mundo Deportivo have insisted this afternoon that Blaugrana representatives are at the Confederations Cup to watch the defensive duo with a view to signing the pair this summer.

Schalke are on the verge of signing Adam Szalai from Mainz after agreeing personal terms with the striker over a long-term deal.

whats with all these spanish (scrub) players signing for EPL teams. Personally I barely know the names of half of them lol

The Isco rumours meh. We have been through it before and I don't believe it until its official. I am more concerned with the fact we will beat all records of having a team without a coach the longest Proud

Mainly Swansea isn't it? and lets face it with Laudrup in charge the likely hood of signings from La Liga is very high.

Dembele - Sandro - Paulinho is a really really good midfield to be honest. Don't think any midfield in PL comes close to that.

Ligue 1 side Marseille are stepping up their transfer market business by making a bid for Lille winger Dimitri Payet, according to French sports daily L’Equipe.

Marseille are believed to have tabled €8m to prise Payet from Grand Stade Lille Metropole to the Stade Velodrome, although it remains to be seen if Lille will take the bait – Lille are looking for €10m to release their talented winger.

So they can pay afford to pay that for Payet yet they won't do it for Gervais Clubber

halamadrid2 wrote:It doesn't matter if we have Cavani, Suarez or Faubert as our striker because the way we play it will be hard for them to show their true form of their previous team

secondly Morata, Average Laughing how many times have you watched Castilla over the years?? I don't think he will quite reach Rauls levels for us but if we have faith he will do great. I don't think he himself expects to start so he will sit on the bench. Last season he made 15 appearances I can see him make more next season so this short term bull is too funny.

We already have alot of Canteranos on our team as it is don't think he is overly desperate for more. His presidential oppositions have criticized this galactico idea and his lack of trust in his own so he is improving in that regard. Although Perez hasn't been wanking over Morata the way he has with Jese I can still see him supporting the kid. For Perez his aim is not football but business if we didn't have a striker going into a season he wouldn't give a flying fck as long as our income and revenue is increasing.

So from a footballing perspective this isn't bad since Benzema will be our starting striker anyways and Tevez an experienced dude coming off the bench.

You read what you write before you post, Hala? Because you went completely off topic. The "short term bull being too funny" is an interesting comment, because the bull is actually all yours, mate, I just analysed it for you as you were contradicting yourselves pretty heavily. For instance, you talk about "developing Morata" and in the same sentence say it is smart to sign Tevez as our back-up forward - so where is Morata's development going to come from? Playing 2 early Copa games and a couple 2nd division games again? He played less than 5 whole games last season in CL and Liga...

Now, you can have your mega overhyped opinion of our prospects, but for RM standards Morata is an average prospect. He is about Rodrigo's level and we didn't even keep Rodrigo as our 3rd choice. We had Soldado who was a much better prospect back then and we didn't keep him, same with Mata if you want. Now, I've watched Morata enough to form an opinion there is actually not much special about this kid. He is not particularly good in any department. Perhaps he could be good eventually, but in my opinion he'll never be great and that is what we look for - especially in strikers. Anyone who has followed RM over the last decades would know that so it's a bit dissappointing to see you miss the absolute basics.

The only question here is can he reach the level of our starting strikers in the last 10 years - Raul, Morientes, Mijatovic, Suker, Owen, Ronaldo, Ruud, Pipita, Benzema - and will he be patient enough to wait for his chance of a starter role (will this chance even come)? My answer would have to be a resounding no. We always look for best strikers in the world and there are literally hundreds of better players than Morata. He'll leave after another ball watching season is my prediction. Jese is the one who could make it at Real Madrid, but even that's a big maybe.

Unai Emery is looking to offload 10 first team players this summer, according to El Desmarque. Those players are: Javi Varas, Emir Spahic, Alexis, Alberto Botia, Bernardo, Hedwiges Maduro, Javi Hervas, Miroslav Stevanovic, Manu del Moral and Baba.

Laughing if somebody actually wants Baba.

A Tweet posted at midday on Saturday by Arsenal fan @ninaafc has immediately picked up over 700 retweets as it concerned the Gunners’ potential signing of Marouane Fellaini from Everton.

Yiasoumi found herself partying with Marouane Fellaini and Arsenal’s Mikel Arteta in Spain last night, and she used the opportunity to ask the Evertonian if he is indeed moving down south.

Fellaini’s response: “I hope so”.

Morata has already said the he would request a transfer if Madrid carried more than 2 Cfs (including him) on the squad. He recently told AS that he was told he would not need to transfer.... so you can connect the dots. I think it comes down to either keeping Benz or buying Cavani/Suarez and selling Benz.

Morata, as of now, is being told that he's the backup CF.
