You may not want him but its happened so its another player who to add to the insane and unmanageable amount of players in that position.

Last season(not this one) Mourinho had a squad of 25 players but only used 14 of these regularly. The others never ever saw the pitch even when the regular eleven had played 8 games in one month

youd be very hopeful if you thought Mou would utilize all of his players. He likes to have an eleven he will always use and three subs whl will always get subbed on. one of the subs is usually a hardworker (moses??) that leaves two. a striker and another preferred player for him

It's strange but Chelsea fans right now remind me of madrid fans when mou arrived. many players = competition = going far everywhere etc... it's going to be an honey moon period until you guys realize that too much competition is not good for the team. too many young players looking to develop into top players, without consistent playing time will amount to nothing. that's why a mix of old players who have already maximized their potential and young players looking to develop is always better. but you have like 7 young players looking to develop, not good imo, long term that is.

Mata will be a regular, Oscar will be used everywhere just for the sake of playing, Hazard will always play but may get dropped if performed poorly, KDB will never play, Schurrle will keep getting playing time although he is shit and moses will always be the first one of the bench

If I was to try and predict what our club was thinking, We'll loan KDB out again and end up selling either KDB or Hazard. OR we try convert KDB or Oscar into a pivot player which makes the MVG transfer redundant.

Long story short, our club is not spending wisely, the fans are not overly happy about it but hey, I'd rather have too many good players than last season where we only had 4 decent AM's.

Rustled some jimmies it seems. I didn't agree with the Shirley signing but surprised to see us get more criticism than Bayern that's all.

Van Ginkel will play in the pivot if signed, far from being confirmed. Doesn't have to compete with the others, rumours Oscar will be used in a similar role.

4AMs that are decent thats a luxury we only had/have one

Mata, Hazard and Oscar all played 60 games last season. Its obvious some depth is needed.

We played 69 games last season, Mata and Oscar played 64 of those games. Both are now off to the Confed's cup, both last season competed in the Olympics and Mata had the Euro's before that. We also had a post season tour and for our preseason this season, we're going on two tours, Asia and the USA, these two will not get a break till 2015. If that!

No but we are saying that preivously 4 was not enough. 5 imo, is perfect but unless we loan Schurrle, we have 6. Who knows when we will play close to that again, could be just a few seasons away.

Mata is barely playing in the confederations cup so consider it as his rest. Also 60 or so games is normal for important players in a team. 38 games in the league and a couple in the cups. They can be given rest early on in the cup which I trust they were given??

Thats nothing man. Besides Lampard can always slot in at AM if needed be. But as Nick said there shouldn't be too many young players competing for the same spots because it will wreck their development.

Mata won't get benched, just like CR7 didn't. He is too vital to our attack.

I doubt Mata will be dropped tbh. I am thinking he will be Mou's Ozil in that AM spot but one who is slightly better than a donkey on the RW and who doesn't feel exhausted after 60mins. in fact I think he will be Mous new homie

6 players for 3/4 positions is okay in a 60 game season. That's the minimal requirement to compete for all 4 competitions.

Fergie had Nani, Rooney, Van Persie, Valencia, Welbeck, Hernandez, Kagawa & Ashley Young for 4 positions last season.

Stop crying.

Guess Muller's, Kroos', Shaqiri's and Gotze's careers are all but over according to your logic.
