Mind you they do get some stuff wrong too, no RMC or L'Equipe etc etc but decent I suppose.

Re: Summer Transfer Rumours Mk.IV
I can give some insight on Gervinho since i'm an OM fan and follow their stuff closely....
The top targets are Alessandrini, Payet, Thauvin and Cabella. Gervinho is the 5th option... and the max offer would be 7 mil.

Regardless, I am quite happy with the Lovren sales. Hope Gomis follow and we can ship him somewhere.
Gervinho was a top talent at Lille and owned in L1. If it's announced age is true, then it's a bargain.

Re: Summer Transfer Rumours Mk.IV
According to L’Equipe, Jose Mourinho wants to see Gael Kakuta in action before making a decision on the Frenchman for the new season. The winger spent last season on loan at Vitesse Arnhem and has previously expressed a desire to remain in Holland, but Mourinho has yet to decide whether to keep him as part of his Chelsea squad or loan him out again.

Well, that scrub is still light years past Reina
Accounting for the games played difference, Mignolet made a 135 more saves than Reina. He also had 11 clean sheets compared to Reina's 14, PLAYING FOR SUNDERLAND...

Napoli interested in Strootman, according to his agent:

Claudio Marchisio is increasingly likely to leave Juventus, as Manchester United offer Nani plus €15m.
The midfielder is currently on international duty at the Confederations Cup and made it clear in a Press conference he was not at all happy with the club’s stance.
“I will have to talk to Juventus. I want to see if I’m still important for them. If not, then it is only normal for me to look at other teams. It has been said that my intentions are decisive, but it takes two to tango.”
Italian newspapers today suggest Marchisio received absolutely no response from Juventus, while it was also implied a pay rise was out of the question.
The Italian international who grew up in the Bianconeri youth academy is more likely than ever to leave Turin.
Tuttosport claim Marchisio’s €30m valuation will fund the summer transfer strategy and include a potential exchange with Manchester United winger Nani plus cash.
Monaco are also said to be interested in snapping up Marchisio for their midfield.

Russian newspaper Izvestia has learned that Sevilla are wrapping up a deal to sign Spartak Moscow striker Ari.
The Brazilian has refused a new contract offer at the Russian club and is set to leave when his deal expires at the end of the month.
According to Izvestia, he has already agreed to join Sevilla despite interest from Turkey, Ukraine and France.

Galatasaray have held talks with Chelsea over John Mikel Obi according to the Lions sporting director Bülent Tulun.
Tulun, is in London trying to negotiate a deal with Chelsea worth around £13 million which would see Mikel join on a four-year deal.
A close friend of Mikel - Babawo Mohammed - confirmed reports linking the Nigerian international to Galatasaray.
“Galatasaray have shown interest to sign Mikel and I have been informed that they are in London talking with Chelsea about the deal," Mohammed told MTNFootball.com
Mikel is reported to be open towards a move if Galatasaray and Chelsea strike a deal.

Napoli face a battle in their bid to snap up Lyon midfielder Maxime Gonalons after the French club’s president Jean-Michel Aulas indicated that he does not want to sell the starlet.
Gonalons has been requested by new Napoli coach Rafael Benitez and a meeting between the Italian club and the player’s agent has already taken place.
According to Sky Italia, the Lyon supremo has made it clear he does not want to sell the midfielder.
This has not stopped Napoli’s interest and did not prevent the club meeting with Gonalons’ agent.

Bayer Leverkusen have surged firmly to the front of the race to sign Belgian defender Toby Alderweireld, the player’s father has revealed.
Leverkusen president:
"The interest of Napoli is indeed serious and the club has reported to us, but the focus of Kevin is now obviously the best possible completion of the U-21 European Championships," Dekker told Voetbal International

Re: Summer Transfer Rumours Mk.IV
Pierre Emerick Aubameyang could be set to join the likes of Radamel Falcao and James Rodriguez to create a formidable attacking trident at Monaco, according to his father.
The Saint-Etienne forward has been linked with moves to Borussia Dortmund, Anzhi Makhachkala and a host of English sides after he scored more 19 goals in Ligue 1 this season.
"Much of the Germany talk is true, but proposals come from everywhere," Aubameyang senior, himself a former professional footballer, told RTL. "I believe that we will be able to continue the discussions."
However, whilst he reused to close doors, the striker's father made it clear that his preference would be for his son to move to the Stade Louis II.
"Monaco? If they come see or see me directly, it is clear that there will be an exchange with them. When you see the Monaco project, [it can be seen that] this will be a serious competitor of PSG. This kind of club will be successful in a year or two. That is what I am now looking for my son."

L'Equipe doesn't have much of a relationship with Monaco. Until you hear something from Nice Matin, i wouldn't pay to much attention...Great Leader Sprucenuce wrote:@GFN_France: Re: Cabaye. L'equipe's reports late last night seem to have been premature. #ASM #NUFC

Re: Summer Transfer Rumours Mk.IV
Why are the PSG and AVB rumors still persisting? AVB has come out and said that he's grateful to Tottenham and wants to stay here another year.
Besides he loves Tottenham and Tottenham loves him. He has a good rapport with the staff and players and Levy will bring in Baldini soon which is a change AVB has wanted since day 1 of the Tottenham job.
He's not going to leave.

Re: Summer Transfer Rumours Mk.IV
They're throwing a lot of money at him CBarca and he's listening apparently. His wage would be 3x what he gets at Spurs and there would be a big bonus if he were released next summer.
Doesn't mean he'll say yes. But good reports are saying that talks are happening.

Don't get the impression that money is that important a motivator for AVB. I know, I know, it is for most people. I just can't see him leaving of his own accord after one season. Seems passionate about the club and what they're trying to achieve.
pls stay AVB

Exactly right.
I'm not at all concerned. Money talks but AVB has too many good things going for him atm at Tottenham and he's committed to a cause here that he is passionate about, and he's said as much, too. At the very least, he'll stay here another year. I think he'll stay the next two years and see out his contract, personally.
After that I could see him going to a very large club again like Chelsea, because he is a manager who is destined for greatness, and he won't achieve that at Tottenham.
